Knock on wood, Katlyn Gilbert will recover fully from this and be able to come back in time for the 2019-20 season. Interestingly, as pointed out on the Bench, she'll be a 4-year hoops classmate of her good friend (from AAU ball), Anaya Peoples. This is one instance where two friends did go to the same school.

Good luck, Katlyn.

Is it official for Tudor? Everyone was pessimistic on Benny's House but I hadn't seen any official news. Tough break, I really enjoy watching Kat play. Bad news for Stanford. too. This was a brutal weekend. These injuries were all on Friday night I believe.

what an awful season this has been for serious injuries and it's not even half over yet...................teams better have good depth or their post season expectations may be dashed...........

Sadly,

Kat is known for her 3-point shooting, but Kat is really going to be missed on the defensive side of the ball. Kat has turned herself into a very good defender, including an excellent defensive rebounder. Fortunately, OSU still has solid 3-point firepower with Slocum, Pivec, McWilliams, Corosodale, & Goodman. Kat's tough play is what will be missed.

I posted this in another thread a few days ago because I couldn’t find this thread. But in the Alabama State game a couple games ago. Emari Jones a key player for Auburn tore Her ACL. She was a senior so Her Career at Auburn is over with.

adding this from another specific thread..............four players now out as USF, please let's stop criticizing the play of this poor team for their lackluster play, exactly where would UConn be with four missing players?.............they'd be left with five starters and one bench player.........................................really unimaginable....................

Kristy Wallace's WNBA team Atlanta Dream will stand by her despite the Canberra Capitals star re-tearing her anterior cruciate ligament.

Wallace has spoken for the first time since re-injuring her knee in her second game back last month, following nine months on the sideline.

Wallace went down against the Townsville Fire on December 23, just two days after making her long-awaited comeback from a knee reconstruction.

It means the 23-year-old will need surgery again and will require closer to 12 months of rehabilitation this time before she can return to the court.

So Minyon Moore plays Oregon State, but not Oregon, and Horvat plays Oregon State, but not Oregon. Unlucky for OSU, although Horvat didn’t make a big impact.

Horvat also missed games at the beginning of the season. Was one of the higher rated ESPN international prospects (Sissoko, Salvadores, and Zandalassini come to mind as higher).

I was thinking she might make a decent jump as a soph, but not really seeing it so far. Corsaro finally being able to play has been a boost for them anyway.

Minyon was the only USC player to have a decent game today. Without her the score probably would've been more like the game against UO.

Ugh :(

Add senior guard Armani Hawkins to the list. Her NC State career ended Thursday night with an ACL tear.

didn't NC State already lose their top scorer earlier in the season?

Yes...we lost leading scorer Grace Hunter 10 days ago, and Armani Hawkins this past Thursday. Plus, before the season started, we lost Kaila Ealey for the season with a knee injury.

yikes that's awful.............sorry to hear that..............hopefully the players will come back strong next season, the game's hard enough when everybody is healthy but hopefully the team has enough talent to have a successful season
