The Crowd

Crowd made me proud and definitely had influence in the outcome of the game outcome. It matched the Dunkin Donuts center last week in Providence’s game vs Nova

Wouldn’t go that far. Texas in 2010 at gampel for instance was crazier than this.
I was there for that one. It was good but, nah. To be honest, this was the first game I remember attending that the crowd didn't sit down after the first made hoop. They stayed standing and started yelling louder.

This is an example of why tonight was my favorite crowd ever. There was constant (albeit not universal) standing and noise from the non-students. And when it got really loud, it got REALLY loud.

XL center was the best it’s been in years. Not in shear numbers, because there were a bunch of empty seats, but the crowd was very engaged and somewhat angry. Definitely a few more people who had a few beers in them tonight, which can be a good thing.

I was there, the crowd was great from the tipoff. The couple of minutes after Hurley got tossed were as loud as I've heard a UConn crowd get, right up there with the Cuse game in 2012 and Florida in 2013.

XL vs Gampel talks are the worst but two things are true:

1) gampel for average games is better

2) XL at its best is a step up from Gamp at its best.
I agree with both points.

Got there 7:15 and it was packed with people 45 minutes before tip off rolling in. Def was one of the loudest crowds I could remember from there. Reminded me of the 09' Pitt game
