The brother of one of the Holy Cross players is a football player at Iowa. He's all Holy Cross today. Sis hit a shot, he was standing up doing some serious woofin'...while the team he is rooting for is down by 20. Somebody next to him needs to give him a "scoreboard baby."

I don't think Stuelke played in the second half. She was ineffective in the first half. Clark didn't shoot the ball very well. Didn't matter, Iowa rolled.

And Clark just missed a triple double, needed 2 more rebounds.

Thought we were gonna get some upsets, but nope. Oklahoma has surged ahead of FGCU while Arizona was falling apart against Syracuse.

Syracuse goes on 13-3 run in the last 2:45 after being down by 5. 9-3 in last 1:14. Almost all Dyasha Fair.

Also, congrats to Kansas! Glad to see Michigan sent packing (could only stomach them during the Naz Hillmon days). Kim Barnes Arico is someone who is praised ad nauseam for her coaching prowess (I agree with that in terms of how her teams play defensively), but her teams do not seem to be very poised offensively down the stretch in games (and they can be very hard to watch on offense if their 3-point shots are not falling). If they don't have a big enough cushion to hold on at the end, they aren't going to beat you. We found out today that a 10-point 4th quarter cushion against Kansas was simply not enough.

Reese 1-7 from the floor. She had some cruddy games last year too, people were acting like she was awesome all throughout the Tourney. She wasn't. She does have 19 rebounds though.

Rice w/ more made FG, but huge FT shooting advantage for the Tigers. 31 attempts to 8. That will win you most games.

Reese wasn't even terribly consequential in the title game! She might have been the most undeserving MOP ever...

Totally agreed. LSU won because of the bench scrub who lit it up for 20 points in the first half, and then Morris took over the second half. Reese did very little.

Much more in the women's Tourney than the men's, but I it seems like we've been getting a little bit more upsets in recent years. Not seeing much indication of parity so far this time around.

I swear, when they first implemented it, ANY contact above the shoulder was an automatic T. It didn't matter if there was intention or not. I don't know when they changed it. It's probably gone through several rounds of tweaking. Anyway, regardless of intention, that was quite a direct shot from an elbow to the face.

USC jumped all over Texas A&M-CC in Q1, then kind of let them back in it in Q2, then buried them in Q3. Watkins is having a good game but not carrying them by herself. Forbes is continuing her hot shooting from the Pac 12 tourney.
