New guy up - I started my own timer but it's probably a few minutes late - I'm saying 2 minutes based on what I saw originally. So 54 minutes on the clock about now.

Did anyone actuallly see that last contesant. Just caught the very end. It sure looked like her plate was empty and she was laughing it up with the staff. What happened ?

Still had meat and salad on the plate and hadn't touched the potato and shrimp. She got close, but it looked like time ran out.

This guy is plowing through the meat - shrimp gone already.

I'm calling him 'SoftJazz' as that is what I imagine him listening to.

SoftJazz bites have gotten smaller, but he's putting more in at once - using the knife to chew good strategy. I would estimate 45 minutes on the clock.

At first glance this guy seems to have what it takes.

Alone? check
Some size ? check
Wearing sunglasses at night ? check
Pants so tight the skoal tin is about to bust through ? Che... whoa seems to be a blunder when your stomach expands

Still too early to tell.

Mad Max breaks out his own Buck knife and forgoes a fork!

About 30 minutes in and SoftJazz still has a pace, but a lot of meat still on the plate and he's started dunking - never a good sign. After watching many of these, I put his chances less than 10%.

Going to the potato early - not good. Plus lots of liquid. Is anyone watching this with me?

About 20 minutes left - what do you think? Yes or No?

Body language looks bad.

No. For my 2 cents, the bob and weave action early on was the tell. Last person who did that failed miserably.

I think he's on a mission to finish dinner quickly so he can pack up a fatball of Copenhagen saved in the tin in his pocket so he can head back to the woods and gnaw on deer bones he saved up for dessert.

Edit: I type this feeling his mojo, head back and hes's tapped out. Cmon Jazzy. Don't play us!

I walked away for a few minutes - he must have obviously tapped out? or is that a finish?

I guess I see a fair amount of meat on the plate and a bag on the table, so I assume he tapped out early.
