From what I've seen so far Texas is missing all the mid range jumpers they were making against us.
 
Baylor up 10 at the end of the 1st. Lots of fouls.
 
Cox has certainly made the sophomore leap. She has 11 points and 4 rebounds after one quarter.
 
Looks like it is going to be a foul fest. With Mulkey doing her best to control/influence the refs.

Gotta love Mulkey...or not. Her attitude is what separates her teams from Aston's teams. Pure grit and Wallace demonstrates that in every game.
 
Baylor is def the better team but Texas isn’t running any offense.
 
Chou should not even hit the floor. She simply doesn't have what it takes to play at this level.
 
It's starting to get away from Texas. Baylor up 40-21
 
Texas guards well, guards well; then gets a bit passive around screens and
enough space is created for a good Baylor shot.

Can't win that way

I was pretty sure before but this game confirms it to me, Baylor is in the ball park of UConn and Miss St. All 3 will be in the final 4 imho.

I had thought that maybe I just hadn’t seen her enough. But I am starting to agree with you.
 
Richards can't shoot the ball very well but she is getting after it on defense and hitting the boards.

Will be interesting to see if Mulkey starts Chou to start the second half. I certainly hope not because Texas is going to come out with guns a blazing. This game could be determined in the first 5 minutes of the second half if Baylor can jump on UT right off that bat.

Morris is so smooth with that little fade away jumper.
 
In another game, SC vs. Ark., 5:37 left in the game, 82-40 Gamecocks and Wilson just left the game. However, she's close to getting a triple double, so...
 
I cannot watch the game because I am still at work.
However, on the ESPN scores page TENN is shooting the daylights out of Ole Miss 42-41 in 3Q.

Texas Guards McCarty and Atkins are 2 - 15 shooting. Primary reason Baylor has the huge lead. Baylor is also controlling the boards

Baylor has been up in McCarty's and Atkins' shorts all night. Everything they have done has been rushed and challenged. I am really proud of the Baylor guards, especially Wallace. She is the Energizer bunny.

Cox took a lot of grief last season for not living up to her number 1 ranking coming out of high school. She and Holmes have certainly taken different paths.

UCONN guarded them close as well and they still hit shots. Not tonight. I saw them with some time early and they missed open shots. They couldn't get untracked and it turned into a blowout.
 
Mulkey has brought this team along so well. Yes, the OOC SOS was pathetic, but she knew what she was doing when she scheduled the way she did.

Meh, I can remember other years in the very recent past when Baylor ran roughshod all over Texas and the rest of the Big 12, but still crapped the bed in the postseason. Let's hold off on the grand pronouncements for a while.

Baylor is playing very well, don't get me wrong. But Texas, much as in its games against Tennessee and TCU, is faceplanting.
 
Texas is having their a** handed to them. Granted it is at Baylor, wow are we not as good as I thought? Nah, that can’t be, in Geno we trust!
 
To me, Minnie Mouse (Richards) has been most impressive for Baylor, she is every where.

Maybe... but I'm thinking she didn't realize they'd be this good. They lost 3 pretty prominent seniors in Alexis Jones, Alexis Prince, and Nina Davis.

Looks like you are right on. Baylor is destroying them. Up by close to 30 points with 5 minutes left in game. The twin towers of Baylor have awakened.
