ESPN was all screwed up. I was watching it and The Summitt and the ESPN's scores were several minutes behind compared to the comments on the Summitt.weird incident at end - I was watching the ESPN Gamecast - It said TN 62 KY 57 with 12 seconds left. I tried to take a screencap but just missed.
I'd like to see that.
No, seriously, I'd like to see that.
But I doubt it. No one else is remotely as good as KY. Still think Vols win regular season title.

OK, that makes sense. It definately was way behind the actual scoring action.I think it's because it was an FSN game, the stats feed to ESPN was slower.
But the LV's are not a good road team, as evidenced by the loss at Virginia..
Can't argue with the rankings at this time: looks like the #1 seeds will be Baylor, ND, CT, Stanford.
The Rutgers win is their only good road game, but they only won by 6. Compare that to losses at Virginia and Kentucky, plus a 97-80 loss at Stanford. That's why I say they are not a good road team. They play much better at home.Seriously, based on that 1 game you're concluding they're not a good road team?
They beat Rutgers at the RAC.
from what I read here) and actually it was a good game to watch. Johnson is a rebounding monster and TN did come back from 12 points down but some of it was becouse the offense of KY was horrible. The call against Striklen was a very bad call and should have been a no call. At this point it looks clear that there is a seperation in quality between the 4 top teams (Baylor, ND, UConn and Stanford) and the teams behind.Yeah, losses by TN and the Terps helped Stanford tonight, but Stanford is still far from a shoo in.

I think Williams is the only perimeter player they could put on Mathis, although I might have tried Manning. Why no trap, I have no idea.I was surprised by Tenn's defense on the last possession. Why put Williams on Mathis? I don't understand why Tenn allowed Mathis to drive to the basket against Williams when the trap had been pretty effective against her. That was just too easy.
No, but it might not have been a blowout. So they would've won if they played Stanford at home?
Of course they get a 1 seed if they win out. But I think they have been playing down to the competition lately, and that may cost them. They are very close to a shoo in. I think they have a very good chance of winning out.

So we disagree. No surprise there, and I'm sure it won't be the last time. This is flimsy evidence, even at best.
The Sagarin _average_ home court advantage is 4 points, which means an 8 pt swing whether you're home or away. I've seen nothing even remotely that would cause me to think TN has a greater gap than that.
Too much parity between Maryland, Duke, Miami, Kentucky and Tennessee for any of them to have less than 3 losses and that won't overtake Stanford if they win out.The problem is that the PAC is so abysmally weak, Stan is kind of running in place. They have no chance to earn quality points.
If a team goes on a strong run down the stretch, it has the chance to jump them.
IMO, the ONLY way Stanford isn't a 1 seed is either if they lose, or if Duke runs the table and wins the ACC. i get that Stanford has a weak schedule. but they blew out tennessee by 17 - almost putting up a C-note on them. with Maryland losing tonite, and the ACC most likely beating each other up, there won't be another team outside the top 4 with less than 3 losses, notwithstanding teams like Deleware or Wisc Green bay, who play practically no one.Yeah, losses by TN and the Terps helped Stanford tonight, but Stanford is still far from a shoo in.
I dont see how Tenn can still be in the top 10 after suffering their 4th loss
