Expect a thread how none of today's problems are whitmer's fault. It was too sunny, and the glare bothered him, the OL, the home crowd was hostile, etc.

I love the kid's toughness, but enough. He is not good, he is not average, he is not accurate, he is a little mobile, he is not developing or coming back next year.

It is the only thing that makes sense. He simply feels he can't risk "breaking" him behind this line. I've thought this might be the reason also. Sorta using Whitmer as the sacrificial lamb, because well, someone has to take these beatings.
