A LT is never going to block a DE that runs a 4.75 40 as he takes a straight path upfield. He's guarding his inside and he weighs 290 pounds.

I totally agree Pasqualoni was awful. My fear right now is that we have much bigger problems than the fact Pasqualoni gutted this program.

If he ran straight up field, he would have taken himself out of play. He didn't run straight up the field.
 
Our defense is good to very good. They simply get no help on offense and get worn down. there are playmakers all over the defense.

Surprised they haven't been critical of Whitmer. He panics as soon as the ball is snapped.
 
So this game can be summed up by UConn's defense making Temple's offense look bad and UConn's offense is being made to look bad by UConn's offense.

This is worth repeating. If that traditional first drive turnover wasn't returned for a TD, we'd be 0-0. /shrugs
 
That this many people are sitting through this is amazing.

Temple can't field a punt but might win with less than 100 yards of offense.

He has for years now. Granted he has taking beatings, the merciful thing to do is make him the back up. Makes no sense to have him out there. We ain't winning with him, he will be gone next year, what's the point?
