While I know the topic of Double Bigs is a touchy subject, do we think Reed and Reibe could play together effectively on the court at times? I’m kind of thinking so if needed occasionally.

FWIW, i think so. They have completely different games. Reibe is a perimeter big, they are complementary players.

Huge for us. We saw at times last year that Tarris can completely take over a game. Add in another year of UConn development and he can contend for BE POY if we make it a point to feed him the ball

I think Reed can pick up less fouls if hes playing more. Our centers splitting time have got too much energy to burn. Get Reed used to playing 30 minutes and he'll do better managing the way he plays, no reaching etc

Agreed. Stewart as a big 3, Reibe as inside and out stretch 4, Reed at 5

Sounds great and all but do we know whether our backup Reibe has enough skill and can absorb BE punishment? It would be nice to have a situation like 2023 with Clingan.

I know Alex had a tough year last year and I've said some harsh things when angry, but God oh god do I want Alex back for 1 more run. The NBA will always be there, the Euro will always be there, 3x national champ is once in a lifetime and he has a shot if he comes back.

This team could end up special again.

This needs to be the focus for him. Him and Samson were way too undisciplined, picking up cheap fouls on the perimeter all season. He needs to stop reaching in at the 3point line, wall up, and make people shoot over him.

That's all about mental maturity, for the young man. I'm ready for a big drop in bad fouls and a big up for UConn. He's got the (not Shamon) tools to be a double double guy. So next year with him it's mind that matters.

I’d like Alex back of course. He does many things very well and is smart, prone to slumps but I think with a great guard like Silas he could be even better.
But if Walter Clayton is only late first round where does that leave Alex?
