Targeting 7'3 Center St Mary's Andrew McKeever

What about the 7+ footer from Stamford? Is he still available? Is there any interest from him, and is he interested in UCONN,

Backup?
Absolute best case scenario if we got a top tier C like Hines as our starter and McKeever as our backup but It Would be a shocker if he agreed to that role and commensurate price. Arent Michigan and Purdue after him too? I was thinking McKeever would have been ideal to pair with Reibe as our C tag team each getting 20mpg.

"Curated by Copilot"

Thanks for posting (and briefly satisfying my itch for news) but it's AI slop. We have been rumored to be pursuing him but this article is just aggregated rumors and not actual news
MSN is probably run by copilot

Lot of neck going on there.

Not the smoothest, but you can't teach height. Poor man's Krivas - looks like there's some opportunity to coach up. Wondering if he is now target over Hines.

I am bumfuzzled.

First, I read the article and thought, hey, cool.

Then, I read that it was AI written and I thought, now I do not what to think.

And then I saw that the experts want us to pass on him because the 7'3" man does not do enough tall man stuff.

The funniest thing might happen now.

Posted this in another thread, but the only mixtape I could find of him a few days ago on YouTube showed a decent touch around the hoop, but very little in the way of aggression. I think there was one dunk shown. For a 7' 3" dude this is concerning. I want a great rim protector/space filler who is gonna make dudes pay on offense and defense.

Seems a bit like a direct Reibe replacement, but a year along.

Not sure what to think. A bench piece for what we want to accomplish as a blue blood, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Saw this tweet that they’re in on Thiam too. He’s who I want the most. Has proven he can perform at a high level at arguably the best conference.

Doubt the guy takes a bench piece with the level of demand there is out there for 5's. Michigan is apparently on him too. I get the sense our backup big is not going to be very good.

can’t help with think, clingan would have carved mara up
Clingan is an even bigger better version of Mara but Mara is no joke. He has tremendous impact like Clingan does where he takes away everything in the paint. Lendeborg is great and gets all the awards but Mara is their best player because he's their most impactful player. It was the same with Clingan, we had great players then and they won conference awards and national awards but Clingan was the best player and the most impactful player.
