Our Huskies are going to feast on some orange if we end up playing them in the Bahamas in November.
It’s worth noting that Miami is in a league that makes geographical sense, for the most part. The others very much are not. On the other hand, look at how Villanova has thrived in recent years. Granted, Jay Wright is an outstanding coach, but it turns out being in a basketball-centric league with natural geographical rivals can be a good thing for a basketball program. Who knew?Objectively, none of the BE schools that jumped to the ACC ship -- Cuse, Pitt, Miami, BC -- have notably thrived in any major sport.
Cuse has had 1 or 2 successful mbb seasons (one FF) but most have been mediocre at best. FB success has been fleeting.
Pitt and BC are almost forgettable.mid-majors in mbb.
Miami has had slightly better success in mbb and FB, but nothing remarkable or sustainable.
The P5 money has been an upside, but it hardly ensures success on the field or court. As others have stated, I have few thoughts and prayers for Cuse in their struggling times. They've earned their time in the shade.

BC plays a zone too and they suckThat zone doesn't work in 2020.
Kadary Richmond is a gem though. Especially if he learns to shoot it. If he transfers I'd like to think our relationship with him will make us a potential landing spot. The ability to create off the bounce is rate--he's got it.
? are you being sarcastic? At least those Syracuse fans have that ACC money to brag about...personally, I'd rather have that than a relevant basketball team.

Correction: best case scenario is that Buddy takes his extra year that Covid gave him and Jim stays 2 more years. When Buddy and Jim retire from basketball the program will be in tatters and require some 4-5 year drawn out rebuild.Best case scenario Jimmy Jr transfers in and he stays coaching his two sons and their friend, who should all be playing at Valparaiso, for one year. The laughs will be endless.
Yeah, that’s what the “/s” at the end of my post means (guessing you didn’t know that).? are you being sarcastic?
Well, to be fair, we almost did. But they were too busy predicting our demise to notice they were steadily declining too. Meanwhile, we've righted the ship while they're going off the cliff. Fun times. You almost feel bad for those Cuse fans... until you remember all those posts predicting UConn fading into a mid-major afterthought from a few years ago. It’s those posts that make watching Syracuse and UConn going in drastically different directions so, so sweet.
Also add in the other son transferring in, and him and Buddy taking 40 shots per game between the two of them. That will be a hoot.Correction: best case scenario is that Buddy takes his extra year that Covid gave him and Jim stays 2 more years. Are you sure if that? They allowed 64 points in the second half...their backcourt is slower than any two random members of this board.
Are you sure if that?
"Coach, when you said if I came to Syracuse you make sure I had a fine lady, I was thinking something different."The 2-3 zone is as outdated as having Laurie Fine as your lead recruiter.

In any event, the 'cuse board is increasingly entertaining.

Does it though?Wow a few names from the memory bank like dasher, Doctor Bombay and IthacaMatt. That makes me feel bad for their fans!!![]()

As usual you can’t read well. Fishy joked posters here would be faster than the Cuse backcourt. I joke back are you sure of that? To throw your usual anger into that joking exchange and to do your usual name calling - tells us all what we need to know about you.We all know that you need to run pretty fast to keep up with your steady stream of bullsh-t.

Running chef is faster than SU's current backcourt.

LOL - Chief is the thin skinned guy who runs from controversy. If that’s my goal - I am a total failure - LOLSays the thin skinned one.
When people on here don't agree with you, have a different opinion on a subject, or heaven help us if we express what we think about the BS that you spew. You hide behind a third person schtick that is juvenile at best. The "Casual Fan" line is insulting to UCONN Fans as a whole. As for the controversy you don't shy away from, it's hard to shy away from something when you're the one inciting it. So do us both a favor and ignore me or just try being somewhat normal, if that's even possible.LOL - Chief is the thin skinned guy who runs from controversy. It may be better for men's basketball, but it is not better for the department of athletics or the school financially, and that is really all that matters. As crazy as this would've seemed a few years ago, I wouldn't even accept an ACC invite at this point. The Big East is so much better for our program.
Or maybe you could do us all a favor and just ignore him? When people on here don't agree with you, have a different opinion on a subject, or heaven help us if we express what we think about the BS that you spew. Jimmy B is going to get saved. After losing to a bad Pitt team last night 79-73, Duke is now 5-4 and the NCAA will likely cancel the entire season, not to save everyone from Covid-19, but so that Coach K feels better about himself and doesn't have to cryWell, looks like Jimmy B got much smarter over past 72 hours.
SUcks players were shooting lights out and Miami looked like tonight was first time they've ever seen a zone. Like no attempt to attack the seams.
Boeheim gave Richards extended and he played well.
I really didn't want to watch the game but I put it on by accident during halftime when I started on treadmill and didn't want to stop to change the game I was streaming.
And yes this post is more about me humblebragging I did cardio for the entire second half and less about SUcks 20+ point blowout.
