Well since we know a bunch of people from the Cuse board are reading this thread and docSU doesnt have the intestinal fortitude obviously. Does ANY syracuse fan have the intestinal fortitude to ask why UConn fans cant post on their board?

When I was posting in their Carey thread their members were asking mods to ban me it was beyond pathetic. You would think they'd want me to stay so they could gang up and tell me about how UConn has a mid-major future in the AAC over and over and over and over...

So why would recruits want to play for a team that goes 16-17 in an inferior conference with zero wins over tournament teams and zero wins over ranked teams? The highlight of your season was beating an NIT team on December 5th. It was all downhill before then and was all downhill after then.

Even in an extremely disappointing season for Syracuse, fans and recruits still got to experience this:

Yes you had an incredible run from 1999-2014 that any rational fan would trade for, but your past is all you have to look at now. At some point, past titles and miracle March runs become less and less relevant, as top recruits don't remember 2004 and are forgetting 2011 and will soon forget 2014. You have a HC who has yet to send a single recruit to the NBA, and a fan base that attends fewer and fewer games each season.

Jim Calhoun, Kemba, and Shabazz ain't walkin through that door ever again.

Lol, weak troll.

So our National Championship from 3 years ago is so in the distant past that recruits don't know of it of remember it? That's the best you've got? Lol.

Take a look at the videos from this years additions. They talk about:

1) Family;
2) Tradition;
3) and being prepared to be successful in NBA.

That's what UConn means to them. That's why they come. Heck there is a phrase "UConn guard" or "next great UConn guard." No one needs to define that for these kids. They watched Shabazz in 2014 and Kemba in 2011 and went out to the neighborhood court and pretended to be them. That's what Coach Ollie is selling.

Do you think anyone pretends to be Gerry McNamera? Do kids today even know who he is?

Anyway I forgot the last reason kids choose UConn:

4 > 1*

SU fans are bragging how their guards leave after a year or two, accomplishing nothing at SU but getting to the NBA.

And our guards stay 3 or 4 years and deliver National Championships to Storrs.

They are about to become BCU of the north once Boeheim leaves.

Sorry bro didn't mean to anti-troll and piss off a fellow UConn fan in a Cuse sucks thread. Just trying to be a little reasonable and fair. Getting Carey would give them a few very talented players next year. And like a bunch of guys on our roster you never know who might step up and surprise.
I liked you better when you were on a roll. Brought back this scene.

99?? 89-90 is more like it East Coast. We didn't make a FF until 99 but the Huskies were the most consistent team in the BE those 10 years also and easily for that matter.

From another thread here

Is this thread from syracusefan.com true?

Looks like the Prov game will be tape delayed

They claim that people in New York City are much more interested in watching the UConn women than the Syracuse men. How can that be when we know double the amount of fans like to watch the UConn men versus the UConn women?

The Syracuse fans are upset that SNY knows the UConn women are much more popular than the Orange men.

Every one of their arguments is dopey, irrational and delusional. They just need to admit to themselves that they are the inferior program and always will be. This way they can finally have some peace in their lives.

Now bow to your Sensei!!!

Matthews said he got to know the history of the UConn program from afar while watching Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier on TV. A tall shooting guard who is also an excellent playmaker, Matthews has been compared favorably with a young Richard Hamilton.

I thought kids forgot when kemba and shabazz played... didn't think they'd know who Bazz and kemba are

Always great to read an @Gurleyman (formally by husky fan) post. By far and away one of the most insightful posters. I believe he's an AD somewhere and no longer posts here.

Gurley is an AD? how do you know?

This little LSU fan isn't very fond of Syracuse either...

Only in Louisiana would this be tolerated as a way of life BUT as Mau said - it's anti cuse so be it - just keep it down there
