Uh oh, here comes Syracuse. 33-26. Boley has launched about 50 shots this half. They should send her back to Notre Dame.

Is Coach Graves watching the same thing I am? Boley is leading them w/ 10 points but I think she's about 4-15 from the floor. TERRIBLE. She's killing them. Hebard shot bout 67% from the floor last year and Ionescu is Ionescu, but Boley is chucking every time she touches it. This is looking like subtraction by addition.

34-27 at the half. Cuse goes on a 11-3 run to end the quarter.

Where's MikeBlue? This is the Oregon team that's so superior to Oregon St. and Stanford?

if you have watched Syracuse in the past you know how they play. They will press and shoot because they got the green light to do so. They are feast or famine. That is their style.

Neither of these teams looks great - certainly not 'elite.' Boley looks slow & clumsy, Ionescu is skilled but slow, Hebard looks great - especially on defense.

I was off by 1. Boley is 4-14. Ionescu is 2-3, Gildon 3-5, Hebard 2-4. Graves better be advising someone to shoot less and pass more in the locker room.

Cuse cut it to 3 to start Q3, but then Ionescu scored 5 straight.

43-36 midway thru Q3. Still fairly sloppy for both teams.

Ionescu is too unselfish...she should be looking for her shot more rather than feeding Boley or Cazorla. Surprised Cuse is staying in this.

Boley hit 2 3's to start the game. Now she's 4-18 overall and 2-11 behind the arc. Brutal.

Someone in some thread recently said that Oregon is going undefeated. in the regular season or something like that. I'd definitely put money on that not happening.

48-44 Oregon after 3Q. Syracuse PG is holding her own against Ionescu/Cazorla.

That someone may not be watching this game, definitely conspicuously missing from this thread.

I don't think I've seen anyone on this board mention the loss of Lexi Bando for the Ducks. She's the leading 3 point shooter in school history, both total made and %. That may be a more significant loss than most realize.

I haven't been watching this game, but just from the box score Ionescu has been strangely quiet: 5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist. When was the last time she didn't do at least one thing in double figures?

Cuse just tied it for the first time today, but then Ionescu hit a 3. 57-54, 6 minutes left.

Maybe first half stats? She has 17 points, close to 10 rebounds.

Engstler reminds me of a smaller version of Jessica Shepard. She can play the 3/4 and is wide for someone 6'1". She uses her size to battle in the point very well.

I also have to say, how disappointing is it that this game is only being broadcast on Oregon's live stream. We have precious few games between ranked teams in WCBB this November, and this one can't find a network to broadcast it.

Tied at 57, but Oregon shooting FTs plus Engsler just got T'd up. So a bunch of FTs coming.
