Sunday Games Thread

Slocum has been on the bench for a while. OSU has nothing happening on offense.
 
25-20 ASU. Richardson hit a 3, nobody within 5 feet of her.
 
28-26 Cal. Anigwe has 14 pts. and 7 boards, Melgoza has 10 pts.
 
OSU ice cold 7-21. Looking like crap today.
 
Slocum w/ a pair of 3's, 30-26 ASU leading.
 
ASU uncharacteristically hot from 3, up 33-26.

Cal-UW tied at 33 at the half. Dawgs are 7-12 behind the arc, from the gang that can't shoot straight.
 
33-26 ASU at half. OSU 9-28 from the floor. Cruddy showing from them. Settling for some bad shots, long step backs.
 
A&M gets an important (for them) win at Georgia. Chennedy Carter gets 31 points on 10-28 shooting.

Caliya Robinson fouled out on a weird play. Called for a foul on a Carter layup, she then stepped over Carter's torso and was called for a technical for that. Two fouls on one play and sent her to the bench with over 5:00 to play.
 
ASU opens the half w/ an easy bucket on the block. OSU stands around and launches a (missed) 3. No movement at all.
 
Slocum goes behind her back on the dribble, almost loses it, then behind the back pass right to an ASU defender. Way too much hot doggin'. Just play ball.

Johnson-Chapman picked up foul #3 for ASU.
 
OSU 1-4 to start the half. This is the worst they've played since the A&M game in Hawaii. What the heck is going on?

Cal-UW tied at 43. Anigwe has 18 points and 11 rebounds. Melgoza has 17.
 
35-28 ASU. Both teams have scored 2 points in 3 1/2 minutes this half. Ugly.
 
I should probably switch to UW-Cal. Huskies up 1, Anigwe and Melgoza both have 20.

Melgoza going off on Cal, she has 20 including 4-4 from 3.
Anigwe has 20 points and 14 rebounds.
UW leading by 1 late in 3Q.
 
Rueck just got T'd up. Just a craptastic day in Corvallis. 36-30 w/ FTs coming and possession of the ball for the Devils.
 
Whoa, Rueck picked up a technical for arguing a call. Ibis sinks both FTs and ASU leads by 8 in 3Q.

I think that was a calculated risk by Rueck. Now have a chance to tie or take the lead after the media TO.
 
51-49 UW after Q3. Can they do it? They haven't won a conference road game yet under Wynn.
 
I just saw that Anigwe is leading the country in rebounding at 15/game. She's already there w/ 1 quarter left.

This would be a devastating loss for Cal, which is already 2-3 in conference and is in danger of falling into NCAA bubble territory.

Wasted possession by OSU. Goodman dribbling around going nowhere, settle for a desperation heave by McWilliams as the shot clock expired. Didn't even draw iron. ASU scores on the other end. Then Goodman hits a 3. 40-39.
 
McWilliams drills a 3, OSU grabs the lead 42-40.
