What? How did that happen?

She was kneeling near the scorer's table... and two players were battling for a loose ball... and a FSU player barrelled into her.. and she didnt have time to get out of the way. Knocked her over a bit... assistants had to help her up. She walked it off..... waved off the trainers.

Georgia Tech finishes the game on a 17-3 run with a 65-55 win over Syracuse. The Yellow Jackets are now 13-6, 3-3 ACC. Syracuse falls to 15-3, 4-1 ACC.

Syracuse finished 8 of 40 from THREE land.

Wow, that's unusual. Hope she's fine.

Syracuse plays a game of high risk, high reward. Sometimes the reward just doesn't happen for them.

GaTech coach MaChelle Joseph was jumping around like a kid after the game. She's always acted like she has a screw loose.

Did she draw a foul?

You mean Ciani Cryor (Ga Tech transfer).
:)
Ha yes, good catch.

I'm guessing that there's no team that has benefited more from the transfer musical chairs than Rutgers this year.

Carrington only scored 2 in the first half but she has 7 quick points early in Q3.

Watching the TAM/Georgia game and Brooks Weisbrod was matter of fact that Carter, while a good player, needs to get her teammates involved more to make them better..but will Chennedy listen????

Carrington was hampered by foul trouble in the first half. She's scored 9 in less than 4 minutes in Q3. She has 11, Williams has 13. Smith hasn't scored this half.

DePaul down 7 midway thru Q3 against Seton Hall.

61-39 Stanford midway thru Q3. This game has been even since the 25-5 blitz to start the game. Stanford is getting almost nothing outside of the Big 3. After the media TO Smith has a pair of FTs to get to the 30 point mark.

Do I drown my sorrows with Hard Cider and Girl Scout Cookies........ or perhaps take out my frustrations on some 45lb weights in the gym...... or perhaps go for a brisk outside walk in 30 degree weather .

This is why I don't like that ESPN predetermines before the season even starts which games it's going to broadcast. A&M and Georgia were ranked #20 and #14, respectively, in the preseason, so I guess they thought this would make a great choice for a Sunday telecast. Meanwhile, the Rutgers-Michigan State game, between two ranked teams that were unranked before the season, is relegated to BTN Plus.

Well I correctly called the triple double for Ionescu. Now 15 pts./10 boards/10 assists.

Brooke Weisbrod is a great color analyst. It's fun hearing her commentary even on this less-than-riveting game.

Now Stanford stretching the lead. Three 3's in a row--Lacie Hull, Smith then Williams. Now 73-42.

Weisbrod with very blunt words about Carter's game. "As great as she is on offense, she's just not engaged on defense."

Smith has 32 points and 14 rebounds thru 3 quarters. She might be done for the day, Stanford up 31.

Tara not happy with the way the bench is playing, starters all heading to the scorers table to check back in .

Carrington chases down Swedlund for an impressive swat on what looked like a wide open lay up.

WSU has whittled away the lead, now 77-53.

And while we're on NPOY watch, Megan Gustafson had 27 points on 12-14 shooting to go with 12 rebounds in Iowa's win over Illinois.

The 5 coming in are not all starters, but yes you're basically right. The group out there was playing badly.
