Marquette had a comfortable lead but St. John's has pulled to within 4, about 4 minutes left in the game.

Carrington was on the floor but she was the only starter I think. Lexie Hull is struggling badly today. She hasn't really gotten back on track since returning from injury I think.

I like her consistency. Just about an automatic double double. Decent FG shooting today. :rolleyes:
 
Smith got a career high w/ 34, added 15 rebounds. I think she got a curtain call, under 3 minutes left.

This week has been carnage for teams ranked 11-25.

#25 Indiana loses to Northwestern and Purdue.
#24 DePaul loses to Seton Hall.
#20 Tennessee loses to Alabama.
#18 Iowa State loses to West Virginia.
#17 Michigan State loses to Ohio State and #20 Rutgers.
#13 Gonzaga loses to BYU.
#12 Syracuse loses to Georgia Tech.
#11 Texas loses to Kansas State.

Another potential upset later today when #23 Minnesota plays at Nebraska.

Ugly start to OSU-ASU. Not surprising, usually a low scoring slug fest when these two meet. 6-2 almost 4 1/2 minutes in. OSU leading.
 
UW going with a different approach today, decided to not get blown out early. Leading Cal 9-8.
 
OSU is playing some stifling defense, up 8-3 at the first media TO.

#9 Md also lost, to Mich St
#15 SC as well, though played well against Miss St
#19 Ariz St lost to Ore and trails early against Ore St

Oregon St will move up to #9
With MD only falling to #10 since #11-13 also lost
#11-16 should be a jumble
Rutgers will be the big gainer, moving up to at least #17
 
Excellent FT defense by ASU, OSU is only 1-4.
 
ASU post player takes 2 bunny hops, no whistle. Really? How do you not see that? OSU gone cold and ASU warming up, tied at 12. OSU was up 12-5.

UW hanging tough down 22-21. They are actually hitting shots, including behind the arc. Life is a lot easier when you can knock some shots in. They are sub 30% from 3 on the season, just horrible.

I don't think that's fair at all.

Patberg also leads her team in assists with about 5 a game. She's not a "chucker" (hate that term, by the way).

Boley was 7-12 today with 5 made 3s. If that's chucking, chuck away.
 
11-2 run for ASU. Where is Gulich when they need her?

We sure have, although not all of our transfers just arrived on the banks this season. Only Calhoun and Wilson are graduate transfers. We also have Caitlin Jenkins in addition to Carey, Guirantes and Cryor.
 
McWilliams hit a 3, they needed that badly. Draw to 20-18. Poor FT shooting 4-9.
