South Carolina narrowly defeats Auburn 72-66.

Game was much closer than that.

The once undefeated Arkansas Razorbacks lost to Mississippi State 54-50.

They have dropped 3 of their last 4.

That didnt last long.

Louisville now up 8 and USF is starting to panic, too many quick shots.

.-.
USF is falling apart. They're toast. Switching back to PU- PSU game.

ND wins 79-72. We'll hear this game is about the strength of the ACC, but Virginia's 8 losses include Tulane and, most recently, Pitt.
UVa is decent, but not particularly good. They look like a WNIT team.

Looks like Purdue rediscovered its poise and will win. Good for them.

#21 Purdue with the "mild" upset of #14 Penn State, 84-74.

Boilermakers iced it at the line.

Re: Tenn vs Vandy - what the heck is Peck talking about when she says Vandy won't score easily in the paint? If you look up Matador Defense in the dictionary there's a picture of the LVs. Harrison had 2 fouls in the first 30 seconds, btw.

Vandy up 6-0 after 4 minutes.

.-.
Tenn player just shoved a Vandy player to the floor with no call???

I saw it from here, where are the stripes for that one??

That was a horrible no call.

These are two bad teams. It's 8-2 after five minutes of play.

Lots of one on one stuff in this game. Not much offense being run. Or defense for that matter.

The more I watch other teams, the more I appreciate the Huskies.

Between Georgia and Arkansas following their gaudy records in the pre-conference schedule season, they are now a combined 1-7 in the SEC, obviously at the bottom with little chance of making the NCAA tourney even though the were both ranked in the last Coaches Poll. But there is a bright side: they play each other on Thursday in GA (isn't every game for GA in GA?), so one of the two will get lucky.

Missouri up 20-12 on Kentucky in Lexington!
. Other than giving UK credit for beating Baylor, can we please jettison the notion, a la Georgia, the Kentucky is actually any good? The emperor has no clothes. None.

True, very true!

But I cant stomach to watch Tennessee.

So I will gladly provide commentary on the Wildcats...no matter how bad

I think I have figured out Kentucky!

I think!!!

With the type of defense the Wildcats play, Mitchell is always rotating players in for the "40 minutes of dread".

I think that hurts the offense. Why? The players cant get into any kind of offense flow because there are so many different players in and out of lineup. If I am a PG, its hard to bring the ball down the floor and look for offense when 8/10 times I am looking at 4 different players.

KY will most likely win this game, and two of their 3 losses are to top 10 teams, plus not that many teams have also beaten two top 10 teams (you kind of forgot to mention Louisville there). So until the candidates for teams that are "any good" gets filled out with more dazzling candidates, I would still keep a team with two top 10 wins in that list.

Mizzoo on the other hand does not fit that description, as they are projected to finish 5-11 in a weaker SEC.

Hence why it amazes me people are so worried about Sims and Baylor. Or think it'll be a tight game. Did UCONN have trouble with Ogwumike and Stanford or Thomas and Maryland???

Just thinking - there seem to be more top teams that are one trick wonders this year than usual -
Stanford - CO
PSU - Lucas
Baylor - Sims
Are there others?

But, but, but..... the SEC is the best conference in women's bb!!

(I guess they are so good they just keep beating each other.)

Vandy just went on an 8-0 run to take a 55-50 lead on Tennessee.

How much did we beat Vanderbilt by in last year's tournament?
