AEH did have 24 pts
It wasn’t just the point total. 7-11 from 3. 7-14 overall.

Danberry had a good game too.

If you had told me at noon that McCowan woud have 4 points at the end of the third, I would have thought that meant we were in it. We weren’t.

I will now enjoy Tenn v. Miss Tigers. No way I root for the Orange of course, who now lead 11-7.

I wonder if i can convince the gym to put on a WCBB game on one the TV's to watch while I burn off these donuts on the treadmill

edit: im a big dummy..... i forgot i can just watch the game on my phone

Maybe, but that 2016 regular season was *nothing* like this one. Notre Dame and South Carolina each only had 1 loss and both of those losses were to UConn. Baylor only had 1 loss to Oklahoma State in a game they played without their starting point guard.

Now Baylor is the only 1-loss team left in Division I.
....along with Oregon (24-1).

Utah is up 43-32 over ASU early in 3Q. I believe this is a must-win for Utah. They've lost 5 games in a row.

But they aren't as abysmal on the road as Michigan St. That drubbing by a bad Wisconsin team is still fresh in my mind.
Which is why Iowa will likely get to host and Michigan State won't.

ASU is creeping back into it, cut the lead to 8 with 4 minutes to play. Could they come back twice on Utah?

And just as I type that, Ryan hits a 3 to cut the lead to 5. Damn if Utah loses this it'll make 6 in a row...

Holy cow. ASU on a 15-0 run, cuts it to 3. Ibis missed a 3-pointer that would've tied the game with about a minute to play. But then Utah turns the ball over.

ASU down 3 and has the ball with 40 seconds to play.

I think UConn moves ahead of Louisville, both have two losses but both UConn losses were away, Louisville loss to Miami was a home loss. My number 1 seeds are 1. Baylor 2. Oregon 3. UConn, 4. Louisville. If ND wins out then ND moves up to 1 seed.

I agree; ND's last big test of the conference season is tomorrow night at NC State; if they win out, and avoid a loss in the ACC tourney, they ought to climb back up to the 1-line. UConn is pretty well set with only AAC opponents until the Big Dance.

Holy cow! Ryan hits a 3 to tie the game with about 20 seconds to play.
Utah then commits a charging foul with 2 seconds to play.
ASU is setting up the potential game-winner now.

Could this be two miracle comebacks by ASU over Utah?

MD is 2-3 vs top 20 teams...are they a top 10 team? or a 3 seed?

Massy #49 strength of schedule that no one notices
Woe,woe, woe! Many of us have absolutely noticed! It’s the knucklehead AP voters who are enamored with the name on the jersey, not the record or opponents. They should be on the bubble as a top 16 team.

ASU was down by 17 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Utah only scored THREE points in the 4th & ASU won by 2.

good gosh Utah Head bang

I really think this is the most unbelievable comeback I've ever seen in the women's game.

Utah led ASU 58-40 with 8 minutes to play.
Utah would fail to score another point.
ASU finishes on a 20-0 run to win by 2.

Unbelievable.
Totally devastating to Utah. It's their 6th loss in a row. Unless they do something special in the Pac-12 tournament, I don't see them getting a bid.

Can they recover mentally from something like that?

We shall see.
They get the easiest possible draw next weekend, hosting the Washington schools.
I suppose this is as good an opportunity as any to pick up the pieces are rebuild some confidence.

Huge win for Miami. 79-73.

Jack the giant killer has struck again. Miami knocked off Notre Dame, now Louisville. I’m starting to become a Miami fan.
