Tennessee vs Missouri- 5:00 PM. The game is on ESPN2

Let's hope the, "we're back" mood over in voleville for getting by an Auburn team their cheerleading squad could have bested is sorely mistaken.

Wouldn't be surprised with either outcome....both are streaky teams that can play well or horribly on a given night (or quarter). Missouri at its peak is better than Tennessee at its peak but they've been equally as inconsistent this year so it's a toss up for me.

Mizzou has been inconsistent but they’ve defended their home court in conference play. We really should have beaten them in regulation but we didn’t.

Difficult one to pick. Both teams are streaky to say the least.

Since its at MIzzou, I'll take MIzzou for the win.

There is a bit of a freudian slip in this post . "Voleville" is hilarious, as a vole is a small rodent. Think rat, or more accurately a mouse. The Vols this year do indeed resemble mice when they face competition.

I suppose due to the overlap with the UConn game, not as much interest in the earlier games on ESPN2 but MD at Iowa at 1PM should be a very interesting matchup and and to a lesser extent Miami at Louisville at 3PM.
And Miss State at A&M at 2PM EST tips at the same time as UConn UCF.

I have had the chance to watch A&M on 4/5 occasions and they are very much an inconsistent team who is despite this, is very much in the thick of the SEC title contention...until today. Unfortunately they play MSU coming off a home loss and they are playing their long time assistant who knows them too well. I don’t think this game will be particularly close.

See Jen's George Washington at Dayton 12 ET(11? CT) on ESPNUHD DTV 208.

Both teams know each other very well. It’s not just Vic: Johnnie Harris was an assistant here and MaryAnn Baker was on the 2011 team. I don’t think the coming off a home loss is as much of a factor as it would be in other cases because this game was circled on both teams calendars from the moment Vic signed Anriel Howard.

MSU is favored by double digits, I believe. I won’t be surprised if we get blown out, especially if our sophomores try to do too much while MSU’s seniors don’t. But I don’t think an upset would be as shocking as Thursday vs Mizzou.

So explain to me how I'm supposed to get stuff done around the house today?!?!?!

Is this wishful thinking? :p

Well, seeing as there is no love lost between USC and Mizzou....perhaps. I'm glad they beat MSU, though, because it means the Gamecocks would win the SEC, outright, by winning out.

What happens to elephants when they see a mouse, though?

Lately they stomp the crap out of them. At least when the mice are wearing orange.

Watched the beginning of the George Washington vs Dayton game. Caught a glimpse of the Dayton coach (kneeling) almost almost up the half court (see photo)...are coaches allowed to coach from there?

Well GW up 16-11 after 1Q. A win would be nice in a season to forget.

No. There's a white hash mark where the "S" is, just to her right, which demarcates the "coach's box." She's supposed to be inside that mark. But enforcement isn't so hyper-vigilant.

College Coaches Cannot Be Contained

A lot of women's games broadcast on TV today. I'm going to start out watching Maryland/Iowa (can't get enough of Megan Gustafson) and switch to VaTech/GaTech if that game gets out of hand (or during commercials).

Brent Musberger’s doppelgänger is sitting behind the announcers at the Dayton/GW game.
