LSU doing what they do best

15 turnovers in only the first half. Pointer does not dribble, she carries the ball. This is the first time this season she has finally gotten called out on it a couple times.
 
NC State has started four of five from THREE...12-4, Pack, early.
 
Duke got a 31-21 lead but then committed a serious of bonehead gaffes (turnovers and fouls) to hand the momentum back to Syracuse on a 6-0 run.

Jade Williams just went to the bench with her 3rd foul, just 3 minutes into 3Q.
 
End of 1st quarter in Atlanta...NC State leads 18-17. Wolfpack shot 53% in the quarter.

Freshman Kai Crutchfield came up big and leads all scorers with 7 points. We have needed solid contributions from her after the loss of Hunter and Hawkins...it's good to see her stepping up today.
 
Tenn with a decent lead at half time but LSU came out in 3Q on a 7-2 run. Hope Tenn can right the ship. Do no want to see them lose again. Holly needs to keep her job!!

Holly probably should find a job in the mid-majors.
 
Notre Dame and UNC are tied 23-23 early in 2Q. Jackie Young is not playing today, due to an ankle injury suffered in practice.
 
4:45 left 2nd quarter...Georgia Tech has clawed its way to a 23-21 lead. NC State has gone cold from the field.

Bad defense bad offense by ND. They look out of sync with JY not out there it’s frustrating. Get it together ND!
 
Halftime in Atlanta. NC State leads 34-30. Liz Dixon has 14 points for Georgia Tech. Kiara Leslie with 12 and Kai Crutchfield with 10 pacing NC State.
 
BTW...Kiara Leslie joined the 1000 point club at NC State in the 2nd quarter.
 
Just watched several minutes of the NC State-GaTech game. I tell ya, Georgia Tech may not win this game but they have some big and young and athletic players who will give lots of teams trouble. Both Balogun and Dixon are impressive as freshmen. They are giving NC State problems with their full court pressure, forcing 12 turnovers in the first half.

Replacing your best player with inexperienced freshmen will do that.

The seniors aren't helping either. 7 turnovers between the 4 of them.

UNC is doing a good job of attacking Nicon and Prohaska when on offense.

UNC doing a very good job of getting hands on the ball cleanly. 6 steals vs. only 5 fouls.

Yeah their not helping. All around it’s bad and it shouldn’t be. It’s not like Abby and JN haven’t played. They should be able to come in and things keep going. But when they come in things seem to get thrown off. JY being out shouldn’t be as big a problem as it was in the first half
 
Don't look now but BC has a chance to beat Miami, down only 1 with 49 seconds to play. Perhaps the second most improved team in the country after Clemson.

And they just took the lead on a bucket from a freshman Dickins.
Going down to the wire.

They're playing without Jackie Young, and their lack of depth is being exposed.
