Mullins has good basketball instincts and IQ. He is a good passer. He gets in passing lanes and anticipated well defensively despite not being an elite athlete. He has a midrange game and a floater. There are things he does well now beyond shooting from deep outside.Right now, the idea of Mullins is more enticing than the reality of him, and I'm not talking about potential. He looks the part in many ways and has shown glimpses of great shot making ability, but right now it's just few and far between.
Hawkins at least had one NBA skill, if only one. Mullins has zero, yet I agree long term he's easily the better prospect.
