Shades of Louisville Pitino, still got it in conference
Looked like he twisted his ankle on a drive.I didn't make it to the end, what happened with Silas?
I am with you on this point, this game was much more personal for St. Johns after the Hartford blow out. It's essentially a St. Johns home game and it showed....you just move on, congratulate them..no one will care if you are still playing the 2nd weekendI mean, was this result really all that shocking? StJ is physical, has a chip on their shoulder, care about the BET way more than we do, etc, etc. So while I don't like the result I'm not too surprised, and guess what? This wasn't the NCAAs.
Deep breath. NEXT.
Better than an ankle?Calf injury.
The Longhorns deal with that all the timeCalf injury.
Foh with that NCAA or bust mentality. Winning conference titles is a valid expectation to have. The fact that we came out with a grand total of 0 in the weakest BE of all time is embarrassing. The goal, just pay big time failure transfers at other schools to shoot your wad in the regular season and do nothing in the NCAA tournament
Just like St Johns
On the dark side this will come shortly after we lose to a 14 seed next weekendOn the bright side SJ is gonna get called for a million fouls and lose to a 5 seed next weekend
disagree thats part of the problem...nba blows overall so he'll get drafted bc he chucks the 3 and hits and is athletic, but agree not ready, these days it doesn't matter if you are "ready"Reed is a monster.
Mullins is nowhere near ready to play in the NBA.
Pitino is a master. Best tactician in the game.
Could not agree more. This game changed nothing for me. We can beat anybody and we can lose to anybody.
The only thing that matters is Silas’ health
Did he hurt his ankle?Don’t care about anything other than Silas being ok!!🙏
Too many shooters? 3-19 from three begs to differ.Too many shooters and not enough athletics to beat a team like St Johns in the Garden with the way the games are refereed in our conference. Just my opinion.
Agreed. No guy on this team that I would have full confidence in to get us a bucket when we need it most. Reed is the closest to that, and I think our only hope is that he has as good of a tourney run as Sanogo did in 2023 for us to have a chance.I agree. That's been the problem all season. Demary needed to be the alpha, but he hasn't been able to carry the load. Karaban just isn't an alpha or Reed.
You are a lot of fun lol.On the dark side this will come shortly after we lose to a 14 seed next weekend
Is it? Could be getting into Achilles territory with calf strain. I hope not an it is minor.Better than an ankle?
I can’t wait to quote you on all this. Believe me, I willOn the dark side this will come shortly after we lose to a 14 seed next weekend

HeroI can’t wait to quote you on all this. Believe me, I will![]()
Yeah but the sets they run to get open stink. He has no one to throw tooAlex has no business inbounding the ball. If I see him pass the ball to the ref and let the defense get set on the press one more time I will not have a television
Will lol with you in a week.Hero
I didn't make it to the end, what happened with Silas?
Sending a search and rescue team for solo ball
What this team doesn’t do well:
Physicality
Poise
Hunger
Have a heart
Pace
Box out
Inbound passes
FTs
Self Belief
Show up in big games
Run
This may be a down and out overreaction, but this team needs to be gutted. I’m just utterly baffled at how horrible we have been. I’m over this euro offense bs. Get guys who can actually run, go downhill, have some balls, and fight to the death. I don’t need this team to become the Brian Cashman Yankees of the last 10-15 years.
