Absolutely. But there defense is fine.Major defensive liability though, which is why Silas was able to drive at will

The answer is 0. I guess if you want to argue he played noteworthy minutes against Kansas it's 1 but Koroma has been non-existent against the top teamsThis is a game where we could have used Karoma. Did we forget that we beat a lot of very good teams without Reed using Karoma. Reed was awful tonight. He's a liability at the FT line, so many turnovers and how many times can you hedge out 40 feet and lose your man for an easy layup. I also wouldn't mind seeing Millander getting minutes from Smith. Smith dribbles way too much and never finishes at the basket but he keeps forcing.
Great points and I appreciate the objective stats. But I’m more referencing the intangibles! The fire! The fight!! When’s the last time you’ve seen AK dunk on a player and chirp and pump up his teammates. He’s a nice dog but sometimes his team needs him to be junkyard dog. That’s all I’m saying.17 points on 7-10 shooting and 3-4 behind the arc. AK was great. Not perfect. His frustration foul that sent SJU to the line late was dumb. But overall typical solid and reliable effort. No complaints from me.
Demary was both great and frustrating. He played with a lot of heart but 9 turnovers? And two of them resulted in fast break buckets. And his missed FT's late, including the front end of a 1-1 that cost us a chance for 2 pts? Ugh!
except, of course, for his excellent games against BYU, Texas, Illinois, and Arizona.Smith is essentially unplayable against good competition.
Duke and Michigan play eachother in a couple of weeksThere goes the 1 seed. Hopefully we don’t run into another team this physical until the final 4. We’re way too small on the perimeter for some of these teams.
Holding and grabbing has been happening all year. This is the first game this year that I've seen a jersey pull on a screen called. Worst game called all year? Not sure you've watched many games.I haven’t seen a worst officiated game in college hoops this year. Can’t win missing free throws and turning the ball over if the other team is allowed to hold and grab and you can’t touch them. Tonight doesn’t change anything about this team being a contender. At John’s did nothing but add to their resume.
No but we may need to run the table, anything more than 1 more loss will likely end our bid for a 1 seed.We didn’t lose the 1 seed by losing to a 4 seed on the road. Unless you think the others are going undefeated the rest of the way?

WGAF if he chirps. Silas and Red did and still got beatGreat points and I appreciate the objective stats. But I’m more referencing the intangibles! The fire! The fight!! Please stop. We had ONE turnover inbounding the ball. Did you watch the game?Come on,we still can’t friggin inbound the ball? That one’s on Danny.
Possibly. I think I’d rather be the top 2 seed than the worst 1 seed anyway. Give me a 2 seed in the east with Duke over a 1 seed in the south against Houston. No but we may need to run the table, anything more than 1 more loss will likely end our bid for a 1 seed.
How? People always say this. Give me basketball reasons how he got “out coached”Hurley got out coached
Duke and Michigan play eachother in a couple of weeks
Michigan also plays Illinois and Nebraska again
So a 1 seed is still very much in play.
It doesn't look like he knows what to do. He is afraid of ball pressure so he dribbles backward, 40 feet from the basket. The best Malachi has looked the past month or so was when he and Silas played together. His constant ball pounding until then clock is under 8 seconds drives me crazy. It’s like he feels if he gives it up the ball he won’t get it back.
Others have way more opportunities to improve/solidify themselves. We don't.We didn’t lose the 1 seed by losing to a 4 seed on the road. Unless you think the others are going undefeated the rest of the way?

If UConn goes into selection Sunday with 2 losses they are a 1 seed.Michigan could lose to Duke and Illinois and still be a 1 ahead of us. Zona too could afford to lose to Kansas and ISU. We put ourselves on the 1 seed bubble but of course it depends on other teams now.
42% from the FT line is going to keep me up tonight. Tarris is just too big a liability at the line.
The refs were abyssal and St Johns hand checked the shit out of them tonight. That’s not “defending with their hands”Do you not look at box scores of BE games vs tournament games?
It’s absolutely a thing with the refs in this conference. St John’s doesn’t defend with their hands?????
Idk if it’s just a boomer thing to never blame the refs or what but 31-12 FTs is a problem with the refs. It’s also consistent in this league vs when we play non league games in the last 3-4 years.
