Season ticket holders and donors can access sale @ noon w/ an access pass that is emailed.

If you're a football season ticket holder/donor and don't get an email w/ the access pass - be sure to call the ticket office or your account rep. I'm told you will definitely need that to access into the fan Appreciation sale 2 hours before everyone else.

I'll be right here at 12:06pm on Friday if anyone needs a beer, a bong hit or has a desire to learn more about Scientology.

No live punts or kickoffs. But specialists will kick.

#UConn DB Jamar Summers on goals for spring game: "We definitely want to go out there and kick the offense's butt."

Fuller on Friday night format:

>>Edsall said that Friday's spring game will be more of a scrimmage that actual game. It will start off with the first-team offenses and defenses going head to head followed by the second team units squaring off. There could be live punting but no punt returns. Offensive linemen Ryan Crozier and Tommy Hopkins as well as defensive end Luke Carrezola remain in red no-contact jerseys so don't look for them to take part in Friday's 7 p.m. scrimmage.<<

Jim Fuller: Ramblings from The Runway: Young players to be in spotlight at UConn spring game

Key thought:

>>Past spring games have proven to not necessarily been an accurate glimpse into the future. The top two passers in last year's event where Tyler Davis and Garrett Anderson, who combined to throw for 111 yards during the 2016 season. On the other side of the ball, UConn had 13 players with at least 20 tackles during the 2016 season and they combined for a total of 13 tackles in the spring game while players who left the team before the start of the season combined for 14 tackles.<<

There should be no panic or excitement over tomorrow nights performance (or lack thereof). This team/puzzle is not finished being put together yet.

Any chance they'll postpone it because of the wet field? Think they did once before.

From Mike Anthony article in separate thread

>>The set-up under the lights
: The Blue-White Game, which in years past has been on Saturday, will feature two teams — the first-team offense and second-team defense, against the first-team defense and second-team offense. One team will be called "UConn," the other "Huskies." There is overlap in a lot of areas, and many players will switch teams throughout, but UConn will keep score and keep it as organized as possible. Coaches were not expected to be designated for each team. The plan, still being finalized Thursday afternoon, was to have Lashlee coach both offenses and Crocker both defenses. A sale of discounted memorabilia on the concourse begins at 2 p.m. During the game, WTIC's Joe D'Amobrosio and former UConn quarterback Dan Orlovsky will offer analysis and conduct interviews to be heard over the loud speakers.<<
