Going to upstate NY (just outside Lake George area) next weekend. Gonna spend most of the time in and around the cabin but I'll be sure to show off UConn gear to the UVM, UAlbany, Sienna, etc fans in that area when I'm out in public. ;-)

St Marten, Punta Cana, Belize and all over the states…….will be sporting some gear on the beach in Ocean City MD (Sunset Island) after the 4th for a week…….have at least one a day prepped……it's rare that someone doesn't comment about the Huskies no matter where you are! Last trip to Punta Cana there were a ton of LSU people at the resort always sporting their gear and one said to me….."You guys ever going to be good at football or what?" to which I said "who cares we win more in basketball than you do in football!! " lol……….always be proud!

My brother and I went backpacking around Europe a couple summers ago and brought along a UConn gnome to take pictures in front of all the major sites in Italy, Spain, France, Greece, etc. This is one from Paris. We got a lot of comments from people both for the gnome and our UConn clothes.

I was on Maui and wearing my 1999 championship hat and a woman came up to me on the beach and ask started talking to me about UConn basketball. Turns out she worked in the athletic dept for Tennessee. It was a good conversation. She and her friend hung out with us for a few hours. Nice lady.
