David Cloninger addressed this in a story last week. Greenville and N. Charleston likely out :

TD Arena and McAlister seats 6,000 or less making the incentive for the NCAA to move it for USC less so as they could draw probably close to that number at another Top 16 seeded program.

Here is an intriguing situation for the NCAA and one I never would have expected before the season. I'm as shocked as anyone that Clemson is 5-1 in the ACC. What if Clemson ended up a 5 seed and the Gamecocks were a 4 and unable to host at home? Would the NCAA pair the 2 arch-rivals with a Sub-Regional at Clemson? I hate Clemson as much as anyone, but they draw so poorly for WBB, there would be many more USC fans at a Clemson SR than CU fans. It wouldn't be the worst possible outcome. What say my fellow Gamecock fans and some neutral observers?

I think Clemson would probably draw some fans if they were hosting USC in the NCAAs.

Kind of amazing how much a difference a coach has made up there.
