Songs about humanity

Okay, I've tried to be patient and wait for somebody else to start a song thread. I've got the itch. This could be about people in general but maybe a little more specifically about the human condition. There are things that make us different, but there are things that make us the same as well.

I'll start with this one. She's had several new songs released this year that I didn't even know about until a couple days ago. She simplified her stage name from Marina and the Diamonds to just MARINA, so maybe that's why I missed it. Anyway I think this is beautiful and bittersweet.

I've been thinking the same thing, NW. I was trying to come up with a theme that would fit Get Together. I think it fits into yours.

This started rattling around in some dusty corner of my mind, couldn't even remember who sings it but the chorus was resonating.
