If kids weren't worried (rightly) that KO would be fired, he might have landed Bamba. The unsuccessful seasons created a death spiral for KO that would have been nearly impossible to pull out of: bad seasons lead to players thinking he may not be there long, a dearth of talent coming in leading to more bad seasons...Cool.

Diallo thought he was going going to be one semester and done.It shouldn't have affected one and done's like Bamba. In theory of course.
at least with Diallo (and some of the projected multi-year recruits) it made some sense since he did like a half red-shirt at UK first.

That was more the "nobody wants to play on a crappy team" thing. Likely the same with Bamba.that would make it even less likely it was about KO's job security.
