Any word on DHs recruiting.
We have known that for a long time. He isn't the only one. There are a few people who are anxiously awaiting our first bad loss or first streak of losses under our new coach so they can say, "I told you so, should have been patient." And they will repeat the mantra when anyone criticizes the guy, which will happen because he is human. People criticized Calhoun too but never did they rally in large numbers for his head like we saw with Ollie. Same with Geno. The guy is great but not infallible. But the Ollie fans are just waiting for people to criticize Hurley so they can label those people whiners or complainers or pessimists or cynics or whatever. So you are saying that you are a Kevin Ollie fan and not really a UConn fan?
I would think that UConn getting a coach who has built 2 other programs up considerably would be welcome news.
... 11th but UConn needs to handle Central Michigan tomorrow on tired legs first.
I follow the team pretty closely... They man handled CMU (13-1 after 3) - w/ a weekend sweep (Liberty Pitt and CMU) they should bounce up nicely. Thanks for looking Liberty's ranking up, i was too lazy lol but hopefully they were able to rest some starters today. This team appears to be one of, if not, the most talented teams they have ever had. We'll really be able to tell when they place BC in a few weeks. Have only ever beat BC once, back in 2012.
Honestly just surprised UMass hoops has enough fans for a message board.Apparently the umess fans are afraid that we signed a good coach!

It makes sense Rhode Island is the Ocean State because those fans are pretty salty.
Aqua vitae. What do you think caffiene is, a vitamin?
41k views to go... Hope this thread sticks around to catch the pageviews.

Let's not be rude. His retreat to the St. J's board likely increases the average IQ of both forums, so everyone's a winner here.We don't need casual fans like you. Thanks for your interest in UCONN basketball as we get back to being a player in the college basketball landscape and not the laughing stock.

Xavier has never been to the Final Four.I get that they're former conference mates with Xavier and hold them in high regard, but this would be like us telling each other that, hypothetically, we couldn't understand why a coach would want to go to, say, Michigan St., when West Virginia's job just opened. It's nutty.
Indeed. To be fair, the guy has won 11 titles so the criticism had better be solid. Not just the typical whining of 80 year olds that don't like how "mean" he is. Still, you CAN criticize him over there. You may be attacked for it but it IS allowed. What is not allowed is to say ANYTHING negative about a former player, an opposing player, an opposing coach, a fan of another team or, god forbid, @HuskyNan ! You will get banned quickly by the big brothers if you criticize Nan for anything or even so much as disagree with her. That one's a weird dynamic over there. The only thing he gets criticized for is being too 'unseamly' or 'undignified' in his comments--sometimes even too hard on the girls, which is hilarious. But mostly it is, 'Geno should never be questioned in any way whatsover. he does not make mistakes'.
The URIne fans should head to the umess board. They will feel better about losing Hurley.Xavier has never been to the Final Four.

I'm sure. But the effort required depends on your own tolerance. If you are a germ-o-phobe, you can't complain about cleaning all the time. Tolerate some germs and life becomes manageable. That board doesn't have to be all rainbows and unicorns. It doesn't have to be filled with nothing but "good fans" and "good sports". I mean, accept that there are different strokes and manage the manageable. In fairness to Nan, can you imagine having that job? Holy hell it's gotta be like hearding cats.

I’m hopeful Hurley does well. Don’t want him to fail to make KO look better. We have known that for a long time. He isn't the only one.
