Not so sure about thatWe can’t catch a break!
That was a tough play for Silas spinning around trying to get ball to Solo after causing turnover. It would have been highlight if Solo was able to handle it. I didn’t notice injury at the time. Hope Solo recovers quickly.Thought I saw him tweak it on that almost breakaway where Silas threw it at his feet (by no means blaming Silas)
Will not practice today with a sprained foot. We can’t catch a break!
They will also be going right at Mullins and Karaban. Nothing new there. We’ll see how everyone responds. All due respect, Michigan is going right at him defensively regardless.
There have been stretches where Malachi and Silas have paired, and Mullins can play the 2 as well. I saw Stew wince a bit the last time he was on the floor Saturday. Ross will be key off the bench. He'll play. We need 20-25 minutes out of him, because this is a Ross/Stewart game off the bench to matchup with their size.
The starting lineup won't be changed assuming Solo is good to go tomorrow. Whether Solo was at 100% health or not I believe having Solo and Braylon on the court at the same time has to be reduced in comparison to prior games. How many minutes should it be reduced? I don't know. To be clear, I am not saying they won't get their fair share minutes, they should and they will. But having them play at their usual minutes together is not as feasible against a line up like Michigan's.Here’s the thing, I think it would’ve been fairly likely that Ross would need to take some of Solos minutes anyway. Injured or not, Yaxel is an extremely difficult cover for Braylon or Solo.

Look at like this: It's sacrificing a bishop for a queen (Yaxel)Will not practice today with a sprained foot. We can’t catch a break!
I wanted to use that pic for my PFP lol. Legendary shotYep, Solo starts no question. But Ross (and Stew) is going to be an enormous part of the rotation due to their size and athleticism and the redundancy of Solo and Braylon.
That also may be the reason he actually went through with the Euro step on the following possession vs. what most saw as just a poor decision. He may have felt in that moment that he was not able to stop or turn quickly and pull it back out as he should have at that point.I thought he injured it around the 3:48 mark of the 2nd half. He stopped awkwardly around half court trying to gather the ball on a break. He immediately started limping right after.
Strange player where when it’s just him and a bunch of backups/role players, he’s like Superman, but when he’s asked to play within the system he seems lost and inefficient. If he was on some middling ACC team with a bunch of 3 stars he’d probably be a 23PPG all conference guy and the team would be .500.We’ve been going into game after game of people on here saying we won’t see a lot of Solo in this one, and yet he’s been playing 30 minutes a night and we keep winning. This would be a serious blow
