Solo in a boot?

Thought I saw him tweak it on that almost breakaway where Silas threw it at his feet (by no means blaming Silas)

That was a tough play for Silas spinning around trying to get ball to Solo after causing turnover. It would have been highlight if Solo was able to handle it. I didn’t notice injury at the time. Hope Solo recovers quickly.

I just rewatched the play. I thought Solo hurt his left foot on that play and then hopped around. Interestingly, he then sprinted down and tried that euro step move and hopped again out of bounds. But Solo says he was injured in first half so props to him for playing the rest of the game. My guess is that he’ll play vs Michigan.

Will not practice today with a sprained foot. We can’t catch a break!

One possible silver lining to this is if Solo can't go, we have more size and better defense in our starting lineup by sliding Mullins to the 2 and starting Ross at the 3.

Please note this isn't me saying I hope he doesn't play, nor is this me trying to disparage Solo in any way. We are a better team with him on the floor and he's earned the right to play in the biggest game of his life to this point. On a personal level I would hate it for him if he can't go, that would be gut wrenching to me if I were in his shoes. Again, just looking for a possible silver lining.

So if it decided he needs a couple weeks to recover, what for - exams? He will play if his foot is still attached to his leg. And play well

Cheezus in my original quick reading of the thread title my brain converted Ball to Demary- almost s-#-i-+ myself. Must be subconcsciously nervous about Demary's ankle...

He'll play. We need 20-25 minutes out of him, because this is a Ross/Stewart game off the bench to matchup with their size.
There have been stretches where Malachi and Silas have paired, and Mullins can play the 2 as well. I saw Stew wince a bit the last time he was on the floor Saturday. Ross will be key off the bench.

Here’s the thing, I think it would’ve been fairly likely that Ross would need to take some of Solos minutes anyway. Injured or not, Yaxel is an extremely difficult cover for Braylon or Solo.
The starting lineup won't be changed assuming Solo is good to go tomorrow. Whether Solo was at 100% health or not I believe having Solo and Braylon on the court at the same time has to be reduced in comparison to prior games. How many minutes should it be reduced? I don't know. To be clear, I am not saying they won't get their fair share minutes, they should and they will. But having them play at their usual minutes together is not as feasible against a line up like Michigan's.

Yep, Solo starts no question. But Ross (and Stew) is going to be an enormous part of the rotation due to their size and athleticism and the redundancy of Solo and Braylon.

I wanted to use that pic for my PFP lol. Legendary shot

We’ve been going into game after game of people on here saying we won’t see a lot of Solo in this one, and yet he’s been playing 30 minutes a night and we keep winning. This would be a serious blow
