Bryant missed a couple throws but when the lights came on he proved himself to be a leader...Pindell...not so much.

In addition to tonight's performance, BS is the only QB on the roster who's proven himself against USF in the past. Despite our losses, he's always found it in himself to show up against them.

BS starts no doubt. Not saying he's the better QB but his energy will be needed against a nationally ranked team next week! Until he came into the game there was ZERO energy on this team! I liked his confidence from the second he stepped onto the field, if rubbed off on the team!

I noticed the targeting as well, but the huge discrepancy in poise against the defense between him and Pindell evened it out for me. I now think it will take a little while for DP to get caught up to the speed of DI football, and until that happens I trust Shirreffs.

Bryant set his coverage better. It was the difference between him and Pindell. Pindell has more talent but his presnap read was too quick. If that gets fixed then Pindell is the starter

You give Pindell one more chance. He was not bad out there. It was his first game at this level. He appears to be more talented.

This is RE we're talking about, so he may go with Pindell, but it isn't the right choice based on what I just saw. Shirreffs not only provided a spark, he won the game for us. If he put up those numbers over 4 quarters it would have resulted in 12 TDs and 500 yards. We were awful, then he came in and suddenly we were good.

Not so fast. Pindell is far more dynamic. You'll need that to pull off the semi miracle win over USF. Another opponent, and mayne I'd think different. If you look at stats only, he played really well tonight. I'd start Pindell with confidence that Shirreffs is cool with coming off the bench.

Is it too much to ask Lashlee a way to have Hopkins and Newsome in backfield? Put Newsome and/or Dixon in motion in to space. Have to keep safeties from crashing line scrimmage.

U do not build a program by quitting on your QB after 1 week. Everyone knows BS played better. So what. There's a whole thread acknowledging we r in a rebuild. We r not rebuilding with a RSSr QB.
