If SOS beats record, UConn is a #2. If other way, UConn is a #3. Either way, Stanford should be #4 though there may be a case to be made for Indiana at #4.
Looks like this weeks Power rankings weigh SOS more than record and rank SCar, UConn, LSU, Stanford, and Indiana as the top 5.

With 3 straight losses, Ohio State will need to go to down
No way. Three straight losses so they deserve to drop way more.
You're right, didn't realize Ohio State lost three in a row....my bad.
Ohio State lost three games in a row this week!
:D So I've been told, Ohio State lost three straight games, I think I redeemed myself to one of the posts above...sorry for my screwups.

...i did say I wouldn't be surprised.

ESPN moved UConn to the 2 spot. I think Stanford is over-ranked. They've had close calls at home against un-ranked teams (Oregon & Oregon State).

SC..LSU...Stanford..Uconn...although Indiana may jump ahead of Uconn with the win over Ohio State who drops 8 spots with 3 losses this week

Current SOS:
UCONN 1
SC 22
INDIANA 18
STANFORD 9
LSU 118

Thanks for the data. I was looking at Massey SOS scores.
Uconn 1
SC 12
Stanford 7
LSU 62
Indiana 22.

I was just looking at wins and losses of top teams and I’m a bit surprised with South Carolina’s schedule. They haven’t played a ton of top competition. Looks like only 3 games against ranked opponents so far? (Stanford, MD and UCLA) and upcoming games with UConn and LSU (conference game), I guess I would have expected a bit stronger of an OOC…

I think UConn should be 2nd, but AP will probably rank them 3rd. I prefer Massey over RPI, but it's interesting the Warren Nolan's RPI has Duke ranked #4:

1-UConn
2-South Carolina
3-Indiana
4-Duke
5-Stanford

Though, RealtimeRPI has Duke ranked 3rd, so which one is the real RPI calculation?

1-UConn
2-South Carolina
3-Duke
4-Indiana
5-Stanford

Was looking at the NET rankings. UCONN has play 9 of top 25 teams and 4 of the top 10. LSU has played 1 team in the top 25 (Alabama-ranked 23rd). Glad to hear ESPN is at least considering SOS.

And of course UConn stays right at #5 in the AP poll even with two more wins this past week. SMH

So, we are still #5, but only 7 points difference between #3-5 and one point between 4&5

To answer your question... RealtimeRPI is the real one

So absurd. We win 3 games against good teams- two of them by a large margin, one on the road, and don't move. Stanford barely squeaks by two unranked teams at home and move UP to number 2? Make it make sense.
