What exactly is “pulling a Cooper Flagg visit to UConn”? I don’t think there was anything insincere or nefarious about Flagg’s visit, and I doubt Demary is a lifelong St. John’s fan.St John's "insider" on "X" says that they have landed him and he is just pulling a Cooper Flagg visit to UConn.
He is the first visitor. There will be othersSo all the chips are thrown in on him? We don’t get him there are no other choices just as good?
There will be plenty of other guys in the portal, I assume. We know three all of our chips in on Nick Timberlake before settling on Cam Spencer. So all the chips are thrown in on him? We don’t get him there are no other choices just as good?
I missed him so much. TN I mean.Excellent point.
Newton was also what I call an elite closer. A guy who can take over a game in the closing minutes, score on-ball, get to the rim and convert on the free-throw line if fouled.
In his last season at UConn, Newton had a 47.4 FT Rate (186th in the nation) and hit 81% of hit FTAs.
Last year, Demary's FT Rate was 48.2 (186th in the nation) and he made 80.4% of his FTAs, so there's a huge similarity there and in UConn's system, he'd be a capable PG with elite closer potential.
Demary's 3.1 APG looks low for a PG, but Georgia was just 285th in the nation w/ a 47.8 A/FGM ratio. When Newton was at East Carolina, their A/FGM ratio was 63.1%, which was 5th in the nation, so there were many more opportunities for Newton to dish to his teammates.
Hurley's offensive system moves the ball beautifully, so if Demary ends up at UConn, which I would love, he'd have career highs in assists, for sure.
I, uh, don't think that's how time works. Not to nit pick, but we actually have 80 minutes of minutes available at pg!!
He did a lot better than Reed and his defense against smaller guards was really good by end of the year.
Is he a real insider or a wannabe?St John's "insider" on "X" says that they have landed him and he is just pulling a Cooper Flagg visit to UConn.
we lost Diarra and Aidan. I think that means we lost our top two ball handlers sweetheart.I, uh, don't think that's how time works.
That’s crazy, didn’t realize both of them played every minute of every gamewe lost Diarra and Aidan. I think that means we lost our top two ball handlers sweetheart.
Did they both play 40 minutes a game, dear??we lost Diarra and Aidan. I think that means we lost our top two ball handlers sweetheart.

Georgia's offense is very iso heavy, they were 285th in A/FGM. UConn was 4th as a referenceAll this talk about whether or not Demary can play point because of his 3 apg last year, has anybody watched enough games of his to judge whether he is a very good passer or not, or whether the Georgia offense wasn't suited to a lot of assists? Maybe he is a very good passer, but only averaged 3 apg because he was score first and/or the offense was mostly iso.
If nobody can say yes, I'm sure the staff has .
Great, now it’s 120 PG minutes we need to replace!and Nowell
We could play a two point guard offense. Then it really would be 80.Great, now it’s 120 PG minutes we need to replace!

Where are we gonna find 200 minutes?!We could play a two point guard offense. Then it really would be 80.
I think he was suggesting that the decision was already made then and maybe now. Hopefully he is wrongWhat exactly is “pulling a Cooper Flagg visit to UConn”? I don’t think there was anything insincere or nefarious about Flagg’s visit, and I doubt Demary is a lifelong St. John’s fan.
Doesn't the kid have like a dozen schools on his list, including (recently very deep pocketed) BYU? I would be stunned if he made his decision already and won't look into other possibilities. Is he a real insider or a wannabe?
I love that this place is free.we lost Diarra and Aidan. I think that means we lost our top two ball handlers sweetheart.
Me too but you never know. They hit his number and who knows...Doesn't the kid have like a dozen schools on his list, including (recently very deep pocketed) BYU? I would be stunned if he made his decision already and won't look into other possibilities.
Hum, maybe I need to take math 101 again. Not to nit pick, but we actually have 80 minutes of minutes available at pg!!
Just when you think this place can’t get any stupiderHum, maybe I need to take math 101 again.
We can offer 80 PG minutes every 2 games. What program can beat that!?!?![]()
