Hard time to believe anyone has Jerami Grant going top 15. He's been good, but not great.

Every player from Syracuse always gets bumped up the draft board because no one knows if they can play 1 on 1 defense, zone hides lots of deficiencies.

Not usually...ESPN does list him as a junior though.

What do you mean not usually? Athletes get 4 years to play with 5 years of eligbility. He has played 3 (this being his 3rd) and been in school 4, so he has one year remaining, hence why he is a junior on ESPN. His case is just like Rodney Purvis's, who gets 3 years to play for us, although he will have played one year, and sat out one year.

I would love Shabazz to go to the Spurs and be on a perennial contender. It seems like all of our guys get drafted to bottomfeeders.

Bazz would be perfect as a back up to Tony Parker in that system.

Going back to back in Round 1. I hope this is the case for both them in June.

While I'd love both Bazz & Scoe to be first round picks. NBADraft.net is always WAY OFF in their predictions. I do think both can squeeze into the first round. Bazz this year, but a contender who wants a steady, smart outside shooting guard. I think Scoe will come back for his last season of eligibility next year. San Antonio already has 3 younger PGs in Corey Joseph (memba him?), Patty Mills (St. Mary's) and Nando de Colo.... so I doubt they are looking at a PG. I do believe NBADraft.net does their "early" predictions based on their thought of the best players, with knowledge there order is undetermined at this time.

also from nbadraft.net..............

under stock falling:
DeAndre Daniels Connecticut Jr.

The Husky junior has had solid numbers, as he;s knocking own 3 pointers at a solid rate. The main problem for him is his body has shown very little progress and he lacks great foot speed. He has slipped from a bubble first rounder to a mid to late second rounder. His shooting will need to be extraordinary and his body will have to get a lot stronger in order for him to get looks in the first round as a senior.

They are actually one of the best, 2nd most accurate in 2011, not sure why you say they are WAY OFF always. obviously it is way to early, but I just thought this was interesting and nice to see

The NBA draft is about potential.

So if Shabazz wins a national championship and averages 30 points a game, he goes in the second round. That's how it works.

If the projections hold up that will be 4 first round picks from the 2011 team
That would be three from what was considered a fair recruiting class .

A tweener? Napier? What? The ability to shoot does not make him shooting-guard-esque. He's a point guard through and through.

People need to stop going to NBADraft.net, it's the third-world-country of draft sites. DraftExpress is the one and only place people should visit IMO. They do far and away the best job.

How can you believe a site which has Roscoe in the first round? Can't shoot, handle or pass……..but teams want him…...

Roscoe's decision to transfer is looking better for him every day.

If he stayed, he'd be a senior this year and going against tough draft competition.

As it is, he's a junior, already on the NBA's radar, and with another year to improve and impress NBA scouts.

He is averaging 13 and 13, shooting 55% from the field and 33% from 3 (albeit only 6 shots).

If he bumps those numbers up next year even a bit, he's a solid 1st round pick and could have a career in the NBA as a rebounder/defensive specialist.

His decision, in retrospect, was very good for Roscoe.

And after Calhoun cut his minutes by over 25% after the kid giving it his all for 2 years and being a key part of the champ team, who could blame him for wanting out? Worked out for him, and I'm really happy about that. Hope he makes a go of it in the NBA. He'll be on my "former huskies" in the NBA list.

This is an as-h-le comment.

He's averaging 13 and 13 and most teams in America right now would love to have him on their starting 5. Why so bitter?

Ball don't lie.

Is that why draft express finished behind .net 2 of the last 3 years in terms of accuracy? Or why they finished as one of the best sites in 2 of the last 3, cause they are terrible?

Look at the rankings above or do a little research before posting nonsense
