Doesn't this description sound a lot like Kemba? Me likes what I hears.http://www.scout.com/college/basket...1556146-nba-camp-day-1-afternoon-update?s=342
I wrote previously that underclassmen generally struggle at this event. Well, based on Wednesday's early returns, that may not prove to be the case in 2015. At the minimum, Hamidou Diallo performed with an utter lack of deferral to his older peers.
The slender guard boasts one of the most explosive first steps at camp. Additionally, he utilizes that speed and quickness to frequently attack the basket in the open floor. He boasts top-shelf body control as well can stop short for little pull-up jump shots — which will become increasingly valuable as he climbs the competitive ladder.
Diallo led all players in his game with 14 points — numbers tend to be evened out here, and by NBPA standards that's a high scoring mark — and did so in part thanks to his ability to draw fouls. He also possesses outstanding defensive potential and the ability to contribute as a rebounder and playmaker as well.
His recruitment has begun to fully percolate, as Connecticut, Minnesota, Louisville, Indiana, Providence, NC State and others all have extended scholarship offers.
One of his best ftiends is coming here, we've been in it since the beginning and he's a homegrown talent. No reason to worry as of now
That would seem to fit nice. Louisville already has ESPN ranked # 43 Donovan Mitchell at SGI've had a feeling for a while that he ends up a 2016 UConn commit. I really hope that happens. He's a great player, lock him up and get him here ASAP.

I love lampUgh we so need this kid... better not F it up, we're guard U, he's in CT, his buddy already committed, I got my car washed the other day, I love ham, it just has to come together
I would imagine he is making he comments concerning Ville's guards at the next level because Ville is probably feeding him that crap.
If we lose him I would imagine it's our conferences fault. Pitino must love to tell these kids about their conference schedule.
Im sure they do but I have to assume that KO and staff have an exemplary response that they have been crafting for the past couple of years. I have faith! The only downside to being the leader in the clubhouse is that these other schools can tailor their recruiting pitch to specifically attack us. Louisville probably ends every sentence they speak to Diallo with 'ACC.'
That's exactly it. You get in early and develop a relationship with these guys before any other coaches do. If you don't get the recruits, it wasn't for a lack of trying. And BTW i believe we get both of these guys (Diallo and Gilbert)No matter what happens with Ham D and Gilbert, we have to collectively feel pretty good that Ollie has Calhoun's eye for talent. We're on these guys early and they are blowing up.
Yeah, originally it said "If UConn ever offers Hamidou Diallo..."."UConn may also become a major player in his recruitment..."? They already are.

Yep, Maryland. Was this written by a specific team site?
FWIW Blakeney was rated 13 by Rivals, 21 by Scout and 15 by ESPN. Certainly sounds like Diallo is heading that way. I hope Ollie can lock him up.http:// /Bolt/Top-100-Camp-Killeya-Jones-other-standouts-37820495
Hamidou Diallo - Think LSU recruit Antonio Blakeney. Diallo is an electric athlete/scorer, who can get his shot anytime and anywhere.
Nah, he just has the 2014 trophy sitting behind him with on a wall with pictures former UConn players in the NBA.Im sure they do but I have to assume that KO and staff have an exemplary response that they have been crafting for the past couple of years. I have faith!
