Diallo and Diarra playing in an Under Armour tourny near me this weekend that started today. Going to try and catch a game tomorrow or sunday to catch our future husky(ies?) in action.

Diallo has been averaging about 12 ppg, with Diarra about 10 ppg, with 6+ rpg...
Don't watch tonight, NY Lightning is getting crushed. Not sure if Diarra is playing though.

They are on a very low scoring team, haven't watched them but it does make one wonder who else is on the team.

Both Diallo & Diarra played. Both had good games, the rest of the team didn't show up it seems. They lost by 21, only 45 pts for their team.

Diallo - 22 pts, 6-14 shooting, 3-9 from 3, 7-9 FT, 4 rebs, 2 assists, 3 steals, 5 TO's.
Diarra - 12 pts, 4-10 shooting, 4-7 FT, 9 rebs, 3 blocks.

That's what has happened most games for them it seems.

I wish, quite frankly, that guys would put more work at a young age into shooting better. True in a game it's part sharing the ball and shot selection. But when guys do get open looks so many look really bad.

2017 Combo Guard Hamidou Diallo Likes UConn, But Remains Open

Hamidou Diallo admits he is considering playing for UConn when it comes time to go to college, especially after his teammate Mamadou Diarra committed to the Huskies last week.

“It’s something I’ve been thinking about but it’s not really a big impact,” the 6-foot-5 2017 shooting guard told SNY.tv this weekend at the Under Armour Association stop. “That’s like my brother.”

Asked if the 6-8 Diarra’s commitment to UConn would impact him, Diallo said, “Not necessarily, a little bit, but not necessarily.”

saw rodney retweet this. that first putback was on josh jackson, number 1 player in the country. kid has crazy rise

Camera zoomed in nice and close on him wearing some Under Armour shoes....lets hope he likes Nike as well

Has a nice looking shot to add to some real athleticism. What's not to like? How big is he - 6'5" or close?

Need to see some more handle but the kid looks like the whole package.

Most sites have him at 6'4", though I've seen 6'5" a couple of times.

Even at 6'3-6'4 he's a legitimate 2 guard and his athleticism allows the occasional 3 guard lineup with him a swing. He looks like a player even if he jumps down the '16 but can't imagine how good he will be by '17.

Kid has sick talent, definitely seems Iike Ollie is recruiting him for '16.

Kid takes 3 days to get the ball in the air on his jumpshot... But damn is he athletic
I was thinking the same thing. He has a long release but if he's athletic enough too jump over defender oh well. I do like his massive wingspan.

How is it that on these tapes every kid looks like Steph Curry? Yet, you can watch an entire season of college basketball
and only see a half dozen real shooters? And by the time the NBA draft comes along, there is maybe three.

Its called advertising and marketing.

I remember watching my first mix tape...

Not sure his stroke is slow or bad at all. Seemed he was open for all of those and took his time, as one reply said "measured". Would have to see him catch and shoot with a closer defender there to see the real deal. Great athlete for his size, thinking 6'3-6'4? Would like to see some handle although I assume decent. Question is can he play the 2 because his game is more suited 3 but not necessarily his size. A big 3 guard line up though he fits for sure.

In order to compare to Brown I would like to see some handle but I can see why possibly they re going this direction. Nice player, love to have him.

I like Brown better at this point. He's stronger and can do more with ball. Better ball handler, better at getting into the paint. Don't like Diallos shot, especially as a 170 lb 2 guard. Don't see any reason why we'd be backing off Brown...if thats true.
