Jackson is probably less of an athlete than DeAndre is, highly skilled and a great shooter that I would love to have, but an athlete he is not.

Athletic enough to probably play high level MCBB though

of course, every program in the Pac 12 wants him, just noting that he's not exactly bouncy or a great athlete. its more about the skill level with him.

people can get bouncy once put in the right training system. see russell westbrook at ucla. completely transformed from hs. jackson has a great frame., thats the point i waas leaning towards.

Not sure where you're getting that from but it's not true at all. Westbrook was bouncy as ____ at Leuzinger. The biggest transformation he went through is going from a 5-10 junior to a 6-3 senior, but he was always a crazy athlete.

i heard differently, could have mistaken growth spurt for gaining athleticism, seeing as i have no cali ties. but in regards to jackson he is tall and can shoot threes. i like those kinds of players, and isn't a stiff

Little known story - Westbrook was a very athletic 5'10" junior who was wasting his life before Chief had a few words with him and convinced him to grow a half-a-foot over the summer.

Calhoun wanted to keep Clyde but Hathaway ran for political cover and forced Clyde out.

http://connecticut.scout.com/story/1490681-four-recruiting-jackson-hardest

There are four schools currently doing the best job recruiting Jackson - “Cal, UConn, Arizona and USC are recruiting me the hardest,” he said - and the four-star prospect broke down what he likes about all of them.

UConn: “I like Kevin Ollie, I like how they play and their system. I played with Daniel (Hamilton) and he’s playing tremendously right now.”

If your from the west Arizona is on your list. They along with Kentucky seem to have 20 or more ships to give out.

@Sam_Vecenie: Poythress is on pace to graduate in spring. He could apply for a med redshirt, transfer w/ 2 yrs remaining and immediate eligibility.
