Rocker pitches scared to Moriarity (??!?) and walks him. 1-0 UConn!!

College baseball lol!

Rocker gets out of bases loaded trouble after allowing one run. Dunlop at 24 pitches to start the 3rd inning.

Ugh! just missed a double play to get out of the top of the 3rd. runners on 1st and 3rd, 2 outs.

Crawford looking beastly on both sides of the ball tonight.

Top 3rd, Vandy with a one out double followed by a walk. Dunlop then gets out of trouble ending the inning with a strikeout. 1-0 with Huskies coming to bat.

Out of the inning with the K! Dunlop's pitch count is higher than we would like, but this is Vandy so who cares.

1-0 UConn going to the bottom of the third.

1-0 UConn going to the bottom of the third.

Still, 44 pitches for Dunlop after 3 innings is not bad at all.

Top 4th, Dunlop strands a runner at 2B. 1-0 Huskies. Colby at 60 pitches.

Dunlop <3 through 4 solid inning. He can give us 1-2 more unless he melts down.

1-0 UConn, bottom 4. A random ass solo shot would be nice.

Bottom 4th, Moriarty with a 2 out walk (his second walk of the game), then he gets picked off to end the inning. 1-0 UConn.

Bottom 5th, Vandy with a lead off triple followed by a sac fly ties it up at 1. One out.

Dunlop has no problem getting out of the 5th after that. I would pitch Dunlop until the top of Vandy's order comes up again (which will be in a few batters).

A couple nice performances by pitchers. Amazing outing for Dunlop. Really battled and never gave in.

Dunlop is at 79 pitches. I suspect at most it will be one more inning at most for him and that will be it. I like what we have seen from our starting pitchers so far, especially considering that neither Simeone or Dunlop were really established as weekend starters before this season.

Bottom 5th, Bushling with a two out single for his first UConn hit. Two out rallies don't usually amount to anything, as is the case here. Tied at 1 going to the top of the 6th.

Stock hits the lead off batter. Sac bunt advances the runner to 2B with one out.

Fielding blips continue to get the Huskies. Hague unable to handle a pick off throw, the error puts a runner at 3B with 1 out.
