Then you’re not understanding what I am saying. Being human is- I like that dude, hope they get him. They didn’t? That sucks, lemme kick this trash can.

This next level stuff is some person, like, looking at who follows who on Instagram, looking for connections that aren’t there, convincing themselves that their fantasy is reality and then going off when the thing that was never going to happen doesn’t happen. Fan however you want, but why create the extra angst?

I love how this staff is recruiting right now and a major part of that is the flexibility. They were in on the Compton guys, for example, until it became clear Andrej had different plans, then fast pivot to Solo and company.
 
If the kid doesn't want to compete to be the top dog of the class maybe SH is for him but if he likes what the coaches are putting together for 23 and wants to be part of something potentially special well then he may be coming here, We will see soon either way.
 
My feeling is that if we land this kid, he would be a great addition. Same time if we don’t get him, I’m not losing any sleep over it. This staff knows what they’re doing with respect to recruiting & I trust they have multiple high upside contingencies in place regardless.

Recruiting is fun. I love all the speculation. I think he would be great here. I also think if he doesn't come, the staff has already identified other great fits. The Coen kid looks like an absolute monster. I always hate when teams beat us out on recruits but then my thoughts go immediately to backup recruits that turned out OK...like Kemba.

With absolutely no inside info, I'd assume he'd rather be teammates with Coen Carr over Scotty Middleton.

I'd be ecstatic if we landed either of them
 
Can't be losing to Seton Hall. They felt so good about Sanogo before Hurley swooped in and stole him. What is Seton Hall anyway? A dorm at Iona. Hopefully Middleton comes to his senses. The world will be right.

Well, the rumor about him announcing his commitment date on Instagram on Wednesday never happened, so who knows what the actual timeline is here. Seems like we may still be very much in the running, but certainly not a lock so the staff is hedging their bets and putting more irons in the fire with Carr and Stewart.
 
Doesn’t it feel like every time there’s a weird turn in recruitment it goes against us?

“Why did your information change when the information changed?” is not the ‘gotcha’ you seem to think it is.

This, ladies and (mostly) gentleman, is why our insiders stop posting info on the public board. Then we get left with clowns that don't actually have really info spewing nonsense, while the good posters like @husky99 are getting crapped on.

Didn't you know "no disrespect/offense" is carte blanche to say whatever you want without repercussions. It's the talking equivalent of putting your flashers on to let you park wherever you want

No disrespect, but stupid posts like this are why insiders stop posting here. First, you believe him when he shares news, then you accuse him of guessing.

100% Agree..Technically the story hasn't changed. No one said he gave a verbal commit. Hearing UConn vs. Still in the running is the same thing.
