Just posted this above you. That would fill out the class even more. Hoping some RU defections happen and PP/Deleone can swoop. You know they're on the phones right now.
 
I know it's a different scenario, but I wonder if there is any wiggle room for transfers. I'm thinking of R.J. Dill, the OT from Maryland who had us in his final three. Maybe once the semester starts, you're locked in...not sure though.

I'm pretty sure Dill is signed and maybe enrolled already, too. i could be wrong, though. my info is from the recruiting sites.

Yeah, a couple of days ago, he picked RU over UConn. He will play this year then he is done. But i think he is technically an immediate transfer, and i think he is stuck at RU now, since he would be enrolled already.

He is pursuing a Masters degree if I remember correctly and can play right away. He would be a one year plug on the OL until some of the new guys are ready. Would have been a nice stop-gap for a year.

Yeah...that was the Staff's thinking! I'm pretty sure the window of opportunity closes when the new semester starts. However, I seem to recall that students have up until 10 days into the new semester to enroll officially (as in the Andre Drummond scenario). Just not sure how it applies here, if he is still eligible to leave RU and come here within that ten day window that is. If it does exist as an option in his case. I'm sure we'll hear something soon.
 
I know I can add and drop classes up until January 27th. May be kind of hard to switch now, if it is at all possible.

Of course he would be a nice get for one year, but at this point not a huge priority.

On second thought. I want Shady back. If Bradley, Addazio or Golden get the job we may be in deep .
 
This is a great thread starting with the title, and posDibly left uncorrected.

A coach who went .500 against edsall and couldn't win even a share of a big east title in 11 years is going to get abused in the nfl.
 
No way Golden us leaving Miami for Rutgers..sanctions or no sanctions! Addazio...he would be interesting..Bradley...VERY interesting!

I hold no lost love for RU or Shady, but I can't fault him on the timing of his exit. There is no good time, only bad ones (hem hem RE). If he waits a week then he is screwing over the signees.

Tampa Bay called he accepted once they worked out a deal. RU will likely keep.most of their class and have a couple months before spring practice to hire a coach. They'll be as fine as RU could be.


And yes, I'd sign up Bradley tomorrow if I were them.

who is pitts coach now? wouldnt that be the best if he left for ruty?!?!
 
I heard Bradley's cell went off during the Paterno service today. No word on if he answered the call.
