I think our guards will eat Duke's for lunch on Sunday. I'm in Durham already so the roosters will be here in force. I'm interested in seeing how we perform in a hostile venue.

How do you prepare a devil to be eaten? Cooking doesn't really seem to be an option. And which came first, the chicken or the deviled egg?

Lots of homerism as one would expect, but UConn needs to earn the #1. Coach would say the same thing, and I'm guessing those that disagree have not coached teams to 9 championships.

I'm guessing those who agree haven't either.

Both Notre Dame and Duke look to be dealing with key personnel losses for these critical games, so I think it's a wash. Obviously UConn should pass ND, but I think actually USC ends up with a larger margin over UConn than it had over ND prior to the loss. That is to say, USC will be unanimous #1. Still have to play the game....

Unanimous? I don't think so. ND may actually get a couple first place votes and UConn will certainly have some.

Don't care about the rankings at this point. I care about UConn getting a #1 seed in the Albany regional and winning six games in a row in the tourney.

And obviously, I'm excited about Duke-south Carolina. This game matches up two teams UConn will be playing within a couple of months. And I'll be going to both games!

Duke has some height, especially with Williams playing. SC seems to have problems with teams that can match their height.

Not overly impressed with either team so far.

Yeah, I don't see it. Especially at UConn. Not much in terms of outside shooting, and their defense looks suspect.

But they didn't call a foul...her player blocked the layup attempt and then the Duke player recovered it and put it back in. I couldn't figure out what she was upset about...

Yep, UConn didn't look like a #1 team early in their game yesterday vs ND when ND jumped out to their early lead. Way too early for comments like that.....

Well, if South Carolina comes back and wins by 20 then I will take it back.
