OT: Ryder Cup

That sounds awesome.

Every time I tune in the Americans are missing big putts and the Euros are draining them. They seem to own us in the Ryder Cup unfortunately.

It’s hard to get a crowd going when you don’t birdie holes and any time you do, the Euros hit a big shot to tie.

I didn’t understand Collin and Harris yesterday morning. Running them out today is utter stupidity. If Henley can’t putt he should just caddie for someone.

Keegan was an interesting choice I thought. His running out the same groups as yesterday morning shows he was t ready to adjust. Just following the company plan. A good leader adjusts when your plan is obviously not working.

Henley paired w/Scottie was another bad move. It didnt work the 1st time, what was going to change?? Henley is having a horrible putting weekend, so what good is he in 4-somes?? He also has the emotions of a rock, so not exactly firing Scottie up!

To be honest, the U.S. team looks like they dont even care. A reflection of the robotic, emotionless, blinders golf they were trained on. Europeans, by nature, play more on emotion and feel. Keegan is an emotional player - he would have helped the team. They want this a lot more & their talent-level is now on par with the U.S. I dont see the U.S. winning one of these Ryder Cups for a long time. This is a rout & embarrassing to witness.

I would never have expected Scotty and Bryson playing together. Keegan going for broke here.
no choice..down by 5. He should have adjusted this morning.

anyone see how Griffin played yesterday...luckily I got pulled away and didn't see much of his game

It’s so weird. Just looked up the last 5 years and the Americans have won 14 of the last 20 majors, Europeans have won 4. You’d think it would be more even with the obvious talent the Euros have

I really don't know why I enjoy seeing the Yanks get pasted all the time but I do. And like clockwork, it's the captain's fault. Never gets old.
Who would you rather go out and pound beers with?

I can't imagine keeping up with Lowry and Hatton, lol.

Our guys probably do Michelob Ultras chased with a kale seltzer.

The Europeans are just so much more prepared for this type of competition than we are.

My buddy told me yesterday that they play 4-ball growing up over there, it's a way of life.

I like to root for America in international competitions but the Europeans are way more fun in the Ryder Cup than the Americans. The players are way more fun and likable, way more clutch, and the fans bring that Euro soccer and boxing atmosphere you get from the fans across the pond.

1999 was the last time I remember the US team was so passionate about winning. A mix of the old and new breed players. I believe Crenshaw was Captain.

Rory takes it so passionately and it shows for the last 16 years or so. Tiger never really cared much for it, very indifferent, and his results show it. This format has always been in the European blood. Not so for American golf.

If anyone is interested tickets are now 400-500. That’s less than face value. Guess holding out for big money was a mistake

Thanks goodness for JJ Spaun have a scorching hot last several holes. or else we could have been mathematically eliminated before singles. LoL.

US players don't care about the Ryder Cup. Golf is not a team sport, whatever. I'll never root against our boys, but it is what it is.
Yeah, American players dont have that mindset. We won past Ryder Cups on pure talent advantage. But, that gap has closed.

Scottie hasn’t been just bad he’s been historically horrible. Hard to win when the #1 ranked player in the world plays like a Korn Ferry guy. Hard to watch when you know how great he is

Some old story, the USA just cannot make key putts.

Let’s also remind ourselves that USA fans have become repulsive. Especially on Long Island. Good gravy they also root for the Jets. Glad Rory won today.
