OT: Ryder Cup

We need to stop issuing visas to Euro golfers who want to live in Florida unless they commit to citizenship.

We will never lose another Ryder Cup.

Sitting Cam Young this morning is looking like a poor decision. Local kid who has won tournies at Bethpage Black. Can and JJ Spain are definitely playing crisp this afternoon. JT is playing well too. Scottie is still playing like doo doo.

Scottie playing awful. Young should’ve been playing from the morning tee period he’s been playing as good as anyone on the team end of the year. Morikawa is awful and has been.

Here’s my take on our team… way too many personalities like rocks doesn’t work in this format seems hard to see who fits with who for that reason. No pizzazz at all that needs to end. Even Scottie, looks like he’s hardly having fun out there. When you’re #1 sucks you’re in trouble.

It's generally been the case that the Euros do better in team play and the US owns singles. I expect that to be the case this year as well, although the strategies the captains use to set up Sunday matches should be very interesting this year.I think the Euros have a team that can match the US in singles if the pairings are right. I wouldn't bother pairing a star vs Scottie on Sunday. Let him win.

Scottie warmed up on the back 9. Gotta hope it carries over to tomorrow. I wouldn't mind seeing Wcottie qn JJ in the morning foursome. Same for JT and Young.

Yeah, Morikawa needs to sit tomorrow. And I'd play either Henley or English one each tomorrow so they don't get stale.

Griffin amd Burns were also a mess for most of the afternoon.

They r putting out the same groups that got destroyed except subbing young for jt. WTF. Morikowa has no biz playing until Sunday. Sorry but Scottie is 0-3 in foursomes.

Whoever is the stats guy should have been fired at lunch today.

Thankfully fb is on Sunday as the golf won’t matter.

I think Keegan lucked out with that 2nd matchup. Donald is basically wasting his top team on what appears to be sacrificial lambs, giving the US a better chance to win 3 of 4 morning matches.
