Rothstein at Practice Today 7/15

Dan welcomes Rothstein to campus every summer. He gives us great exposure and has a decent eye for talent. You don't get those invitations from Dan if there wasn't mutual respect. Looking forward to hearing JR's observations today. Best you can ask for in mid-July

Someone embed the twewts! I beg ya. For some reason when I open twitter now it shows most liked of all time instead of recent and I'm too old to figure out how to fix it.

if memory serves, Rothstein was bullish on Hurley/ UConn early on. I like his style, gets his point across without being obnoxious.

Does anyone actually hate Rothstein? I know he has a shtick, but he seems pretty universally liked by college basketball fans.
David, there is always someone on the boneyard who will hate one of the following things:
1) sports reporters
2) Network rights deals
3) TV camera angles
4) sports talk radio hosts
5) anything to do with the NBA
6) any post that expresses an opinion
7) Laettner (still) ;)
8) restaurants that have any degree of popularity

Correct. I hate all of them.

#7 is strong with this one... add in any Yankee fan boy nonsense.

Now for #7 I worked some years ago with ex-Duke football player from the early 90s. He said two things: Bobby Hurley was the nicest person he ever met and Laettner was a complete D*ck.

The hate for Laettner is obligated for this that experienced it.
