He was noticeably hesitant on what he saw with Uconn last summer, so no. He'll always side to being optimistic, but he's pretty candid.I've never heard Rothstein walk away from one of these going "yeah these guys suck", so you have to take the summer reports with a grain of salt. Still, they always make me smile.
Notably missing was a throwaway line about "will compete for the national championship"
Then I can see one other guy backing up the 2/3.
Agree 100%, that's our starting 5 and our 8 man rotation. It's up to Jayden Ross, and the other two newcomers to show what they have once the games start. Really hope Jayden's practice play translates to the games this season. He was noticeably hesitant on what he saw with Uconn last summer, so no. Good to see Mullins stood out - him being great at the 3 is vital for this teams chances. Would have liked to see some commentary on the other newbies.
Looks like Alex is sprinkling some creatine on his pierogis.
And no, I don't think we'll go 10 deep, our starting 5 is too good to keep them off the floor for too long. 9th guy will get some minutes, 10th guy likely sees minimal. Right now it's pretty clear Reibe backing up the 5, Stew backing up the 3/4, Malachi backing up the 1/2. Then I can see one other guy backing up the 2/3.
Apparently I dont know how to post X links. Alex Karaban coming back bigger excites me.
I don't know how any UConn Husky fan could hate Rothstein. He is a good journalist and write articles shedding UConn in a positive light almost everytime.Does anyone actually hate Rothstein? I know he has a shtick, but he seems pretty universally liked by college basketball fans.
Well if no one is hating you, you are not doing anything.Yeah, people that are miserable and want to complain.
Guy authentically bleeds college hoops - he’s the Jewish Dicky V. Can’t not like him.I don't know how any UConn Husky fan could hate Rothstein. He is a good journalist and write articles shedding UConn in a positive light almost everytime.
Think you've got it figured out. Kinda interested in Koroma and Furphy. Minutes will probably be limited but I expect them to be highly efficient in the minutes they get. Not a bad problem for Danny to haveHe was noticeably hesitant on what he saw with Uconn last summer, so no. He'll always side to being optimistic, but he's pretty candid.

Making a call right now - Furphy gonna leave UConn an all time favorite amongst fans.Think you've got it figured out. Kinda interested in Koroma and Furphy. Minutes will probably be limited but I expect them to be highly efficient in the minutes they get. Not a bad problem
How many college coaches bring a better player off the bench, as well as a better fit for the starting roster?Hurley likes bringing a player off the bench who will dynamically impact the game. I see Mullins being more capable of that than Stewart.
By default, Stewart starts and Mullins is first off the bench when UConn subs out any position other than center and PG.
