Been gone awhile. Like I said, Ed was on the bench behind a monster of a frontcourt. UConn's best ever. Repeat. UConn's best overall frontcourt. Ever. He would have served us well the 2-3 years. Purvi

ACC ROY. Played on UConn's deepest/best frontcourt ever. Am I getting through to you?

If any of us were on those teams, we'd be on the bench behind that monster of a frontcourt too. That means nothing.

What does being good enough to play in the NBA have with who your teammates were in college?
If your teammates are better than you, you don't get off the bench. How is that hard to understand? Ed Nelson would have started for UConn these last 4-5 years.

"Any of us?" Lol, any of us on average, including you wouldn't start for the women's team. We are talking Ed Nelson, not Stainmaster.

Admit it Stainmaster, Ed Nelson would be a valuable addition to next year's team. Come on, fess up.

Okay.
That's your answer? Come on. Admit it. Ed Nelson would better serve UConn's team next year than Purvis. Come on, you can do it. Or have you only watched UConn ball the last 5-6 years?

You seem confused about what's actually being debated here:

Admit it Stainmaster, Ed Nelson would be a valuable addition to next year's team.

By the argument you’re having T. Samuel is a better nba player than purvis because he played behind better players
Nope. Samuels didn't average more points, in WAY less minutes, with better FG%, and better 3point%, on a ranked team than Purvis. Mouring did that. Why the thumbs up to your comment?

Purvis averaged from 11 to 14 PPG all three years.
In 2016-17 he was second in scoring , rebounds ,and assists.
He was usually the second or third option so defensively they were very aware of him. I think his injury on a dunk along with RB’s in 2014-15 cost that team an NCAA bid. He was a key member of the 2015-16 NCAA team that won 25 games and really Adams first option on the depleted 2016-17 team
We really have zero idea what any of those situational players would do if given that big a big role. Of course they would have helped some of the depleted rosters we’ve had. It the off season so .speculate.
But Rod was a great athlete with marginal ball skills who could shoot and run the floor.and his athleticism allowed us to play him extensively as an undersized three. He would have or would be starting at the 2-3 last year or next .
Putting him down or saying a guy who was a situational player is better is pure bull.
On the weakest UConn backcourt I've seen.
