This is dumb. There was zero chance Spring was coming back and if he came back, he was going to get zero playing time. Outside of aliens abducting our front court at some point over the summer, Springs’ leaving has zero impact.

The decisions that Richie Springs and I make regarding our future have exactly the same impact on UConn's front court next year.

I'd love to see him end up at a strong academic school to get a degree that will give him a bunch of opportunities after basketball.

If he does go somewhere and get a lot of playing time, it will be interesting to watch him play. We've basically never seen him play a meaningful minute of basketball. I don't really know what his game is like, other than the little mid-range jumper and offensive boards.
