Better than a Grind!Marriage is fluid
Beat me to it.Uh let's not do the naming thing. The last time a class at UConn did that...
I selfishly want him to stay, but even if he leaves farther along in our run, he'll continue to be a valued member of the staff. I swear he's been given credit for every kid we've landed.Single father of 3... might be an incentive to stay local. Hasn't effected many in the coaching biz but one can hope!

If Kimani gets a head coaching job down the line, it means we have done big things. He deserves it.I selfishly want him to stay, but even if he leaves farther along in our run, he'll continue to be a valued member of the staff. I swear he's been given credit for every kid we've landed.

Expect Kenya to get some credit soon.![]()

What's great is that this staff is continuing to create relationships with AAU and HS coaches. Moore for example is one of the main reasons Akok is here. And FWIW--all these northeast guys Tom is on too. He's just doing more creating relationships with the coaches and aau program directors rather than the kids, from what I gather
someone posted that Springs is liked by a lot of recruits ..i'm assuming that's referring to other prospective NE recruits like big cliff?
My heart...
I doubt it, More likely Kimani and Moore with their Northeastern connections. Is Kenya the point man for Jackson?
Oh so he's nobly stepping down to make room for Jackson's coach, what a guy.If Kimani gets a head coaching job down the line, it means we have done big things. He deserves it.

As with all our assistant coaches - a good guy.Single father of 3... might be an incentive to stay local. Hasn't effected many in the coaching biz but one can hope!

Love this kids potential and his rebounding prowess. I think we will see that his outside game is a lot better than the 8’-10’ mark as previously mentioned.
Lol
Great get!! Congrats to the staff for getting this done!! And I know I speak for all TRUE fans when I say thank you to those on this board that provided legit info on the progress of this recruitment. Vs the CASUAL fan who is only on here for self-aggrandizement and brought nothing real to the table. What’s next Chief, are you gonna break the story to “stay tuned, we are not done recruiting for the future”??
Good job by the staff, none of which Chief knows better than anyone else on this board!!
1. ThomasNow that the grid has been updated, what’s our 2020 game plan?
I hope can bear out a low skilled recruit like Whaley relatively fast, He is a too 150 recruit . I'm just glad we have other options at center besides whaley who is really should be 3rd choice there,Not expecting a lot of playing time in his first two seasons, but very important insurance piece if Carlton/Akok/Whaley miss any time.
3 guys but unfortunately only 2 open schollies. Do we just go after all three hard and take the first two that commit or1. Thomas
2. Jackson
3. A True Center
Perhaps the kid had a change of heart, the staff may have thought they'd have to bank it, but were also surprised. Recruiting is fluid and such. What changed from “we may just bank the scholarship” to bring Richie on campus sign him and get him to reclassify? Richie just announced he was transferring to Brewster a month ago. Something changed...
Why did I get dragged into this .LOL - Chief must have permanent residency in your head or is it just a cry for attention by attaching yourself, in a bizarre way, to someone much better known than yourself?
