Hate to ever see a kid leave but (speaking honestly as Geno was), it's doubtful she'd ever see any PT other that at the end of blowouts. if you look at the kids who could play the 4 or 5, Stef, Kiah, KML, Breanna and Morgan would all presumably be ahead of her on the depth chart.
You really hate to see anyone go. and it's certainly understandable if a kid who sees little PT and comes off the bench might want to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
I think it's a testament to how much a player like Buck enjoyes her time at UCONN, since were she to play for a program like Holy Cross or Providence, i'm betting she'd be at least a 3 year starter.
